Chapter 95 We’re Together
1/6
Abigail couldn’t help but swallow nervously. She had only herself to blame for saying something so awkward and putting everyone on edge. If Leo was upset with her, she couldn’t even complain–it was her fault, after all. She was already mentally preparing for a scolding.
But the next thing Leo said left everyone in the room completely stunned. “Abigail, you don’t have to explain, and you definitely don’t need to cover for me. This isn’t your fault.” Leo stepped toward Emma, who was standing silently with her head lowered. Then, in a move no one expected, he grabbed her hand.
By the time Emma realized what was happening, Leo had already turned to face Felix, taking her along with him. “Mr. Rowe,” Leo said, his tone calm but resolute, “there’s no point hiding it anymore. Honestly, I’ve been meaning to say this for a while. Abigail wasn’t wrong–Emma and I are together.”
A collective gasp echoed through the room. Emma’s eyes widened in panic as she tried to pull her hand away. “Mr. Rowe, don’t listen to him. He’s just-”
Her hurried protest was cut short by Leo’s voice, firm but gentle. “That’s enough, Emma–no more hiding. I’ve been wanting to go public for ages. I’m tired of sneaking around every day. I want us to have a normal relationship–wearing matching outfits, going out on dates, even commuting to work together. I don’t want to hide anymore.”

Emma’s eyes turned red, a mix of embarrassment and emotion swelling within her. Leo turned his attention back to Felix, his grip on Emma’s hand unwavering. “Mr. Rowe, since the truth is out, I’ll just say it–we’re serious about each other. I’m already planning to take her home to meet my parents.”
His voice grew even firmer. “If the company can’t accept office romances and someone has to go, then it’ll be me.”
The room fell silent. Everyone couldn’t help but feel anxious for them. All eyes turned to Felix. Felix, unhurried as ever, took a slow sip of his wine. His gaze finally landed on Leo and Emma, his expression unreadable. “How long has this been going on?” he asked.
Leo straightened, instinctively pulling Emma slightly behind him. “A year.”
Felix set his glass down with an amused smile. “A year, huh? That’s quite a while.”
Leo and Emma looked like two kids caught sneaking cookies, their heads slightly lowered. Then Felix said something that caught everyone off guard. “Did you two really think your little secret was safe? That no one would notice after a whole year?”
“What?” Leo froze, clearly confused.
Emma blinked in disbelief. “Mr. Rowe… you knew?”
Felix raised an eyebrow. “What did you think? That your stolen

glances and whispered conversations would escape my notice?”
“But then why…” Leo hesitated, unsure how to continue. The crowd seemed to understand what Felix was implying, but they still stared at him, waiting for him to make it clear.
After a pause, Felix chuckled softly, “Have I ever said this company prohibits office relationships? Why are you two so nervous? A bit of romance in the workplace adds a touch of life, doesn’t it?”
Relief swept through the room like a wave. Laughter and cheers erupted as the tension dissolved in an instant. Abigail exhaled deeply, finally able to relax. Her earlier anxiety seemed almost ridiculous now.
Leo broke into a grin so wide it looked like it might split his face. His fingers tightened around Emma’s. “Mr. Rowe, so you knew all along and weren’t planning to fire us.”
Felix smirked, “It’s just a relationship. As long as you’re not breaking any laws, I’m not going to fire anyone for falling in love.”
The atmosphere shifted completely. Someone popped open a bottle of champagne while others started laughing and dancing. A few couples who had been exchanging glances all night finally worked up the courage to confess their feelings.
Even those without romantic interests joined in the celebration, swept up in the infectious joy.
‘re Together
“Mr. Rowe! Actually, we’re together too!” someone shouted from the back.
“And us!”

“Me too!” Henry Turner, the youngest lawyer in the firm, practically jumped to the front of the room. He only had a few cases under his belt and was still learning the ropes under Sophia’s guidance. He was known for his cheerful and slightly mischievous personality, making him a favorite among his colleagues.
“Henry, don’t tell me you’re joining in too. Who’s the lucky person?” someone teased.
Henry tilted his head smugly. “Why are you all so impatient? I didn’t say I’m dating anyone yet, but I’ll get there. It’s just a matter of time.”
The crowd immediately perked up. “Oh? Henry, you’ve got your eye on someone?”
Someone said, “Who is it? Spill!”
Someone asked, “Is she here tonight?”
With everyone egging them on, the atmosphere got even livelier.
gaze toward Henry’s playful smirk widened as he turned his Sophia. Sophia, caught off guard, stared back at him in shock. Before she could react, Henry was already walking up to her.
With a surprisingly earnest look in his eyes, he said, “I’ve been

holding back because I didn’t want to affect your work. But since Mr. Rowe has spoken, I don’t have to hide it anymore. Starting today, I’m officially pursuing you.”
No one saw it coming–a gossip about a romance ended up exposing so many bombshells. Gasps filled the room as everyone turned to look at them. “Say yes!” the crowd chanted, delighted by the unexpected turn of events.
Sophia, normally so composed and eloquent, looked completely flustered.
Henry took it a step further, dropping to one knee and pulling out a single flower from who–knows–where. “I promise, when I truly confess, it’ll be perfect–not rushed like this. I don’t expect you to say yes now, but I hope you’ll give me a chance.”
The sincerity in his voice left everyone watching with a mix of envy and admiration. Abigail couldn’t stop smiling, caught up in the excitement, while Felix stood nearby, quietly observing with a faint smile of his own.
Sophia, after what felt like an eternity, finally regained her composure. She stood abruptly, waving her hands frantically. “No, I… I…” she stammered. Sophia, who could talk her way out of anything in court, now couldn’t even get a word out.
The crowd burst into laughter. Even in the dim lighting, Abigail could clearly see the blush spreading across Sophia’s face. “Henry, stop fooling around.” Sophia finally managed, her voice flustered. “Get up already!”

Henry grinned as he rose. “I’m not in a rush. You might think I’m joking now, but I’ll show you, over time, how serious I am.” With that, he casually moved to stand beside her as if staking his
claim.
Sophia, overwhelmed, quickly made an excuse to leave,
muttering something about needing the restroom. The crowd, of course, was delighted, teasing Henry and marveling at how he had managed to rattle someone as composed as Sophia.
Meanwhile, amidst the laughter and cheers, Leo and Emma shared a passionate kiss, earning whoops and applause from everyone around them.
