Chapter 21 She Won’t Be a Scapegoat
Jennifer asked in surprise, “Why not?”
She made another one with her own hands, and how could she not prove it?
Sarah definitely couldn’t do it!
Timothy said calmly, “You underestimate human nature.”
Jennifer didn’t quite understand what he meant. “Then Mr. Clark, what do you think?”
Timothy leaned back in his wheelchair and casually mentioned the most crucial point of the matter.
Jennifer thought for a while and said, “You’re right.”
She didn’t consider these.
Eric immediately said, “These methods are just small tricks in front of Mr. Clark. It’s nothing.”
Jennifer suddenly thought of something. “How do you know what happened to me at school?”
Timothy was monitoring her?

Timothy’s expression suddenly became unnatural. “I don’t care what you do in school.”
“Then why did you send someone to monitor me?”
He turned his head and said, “I’m worried that you might
do something at school that would bring shame to the Clark family.”
Jennifer lowered her head, thinking it made sense.
After all, everyone now knew her relationship with Timothy.
Timothy turned his wheelchair and left. Eric looked at Jennifer and said, “Ms. Hargreaves, I believe you are innocent!”
“Thanks.”
Jennifer looked at the departing figure and remembered that Timothy had just pointed out the key to the matter. She felt that he should also believe in her.
Otherwise, how could he give her advice?
She looked at the materials on the table. What Timothy said just now was right. The key to this matter was not whether she could restore the same model.
It was pretty late when Jennifer finished making the model.
She took out her phone, checked the time, and found that she

Asher sent a message: [Jennifer, let’s just forget about the model. After all, it was you who injured Sarah’s hand. Even if you don’t want to continue doing homework for her, there’s not need to expose her and embarrass her!]
Seeing this message, Jennifer felt suffocated.
She turned off her phone and did not reply.
There was no need.
The next day, Jennifer got up early and prepared to take the bus to school.
After all, she really had no money to take a taxi.
But she saw Timothy put on a suit and looked like he was going
out.
Jennifer walked over. “Are you going to work? So early!”
She rose early to catch the bus, walking from the villa area lacking a stop.
Her feet were much better now. Although she didn’t need a wheelchair anymore, she still needed to use crutches.
So she walked very slowly and needed to get up early, not to be late.

Timothy’s expression was cold, and he responded indifferently.
Jennifer followed him out.
Eric said to her, “Ms. Hargreaves, go with us. We’re going to pass by your school.”
Timothy looked at Eric coldly as if to say, “You’re too nosy.”
Jennifer saw Timothy’s stern face and asked politely, “Is it convenient for you?”
Eric withstood the considerable pressure. “Mr. Clark has always been very generous to his woman.
Jennifer was almost scared to death!
Although she was Timothy’s fiancée, she had no affair with this
man.
She was not his woman.
Timothy looked unnatural and turned around to get in the car first.
He didn’t answer Jennifer.
Jennifer smiled, “Then, thank you.”
After all, if she were to use crutches to catch the bus, it would definitely be challenging.

Now that she could hitch a ride, surely she wouldn’t refuse it.

After Jennifer got into the car, Eric helped her put the crutches. in the trunk.
She felt that Timothy beside her seemed to have a stern face all the time, so she tried to reduce her presence as much as possible to avoid being kicked out of the car.
“Buzz!” Jennifer’s phone kept ringing.
She took a look and saw that it was Asher calling.
Jennifer guessed what Asher wanted to say, which was simply to ask her to give up exposing Sarah.
But the phone kept ringing, which was annoying in the car.
Timothy was a little impatient and said coldly, “Answer it!”
Jennifer then answered the phone and whispered, “What’s the matter?”
“Jennifer, did you listen to what I said to you last night? I know you think we are partial, but Sarah’s mother saved your life, and we are paying your debt. We are all doing this for your good. Why don’t you understand?”
It was hushed in the car.
Hearing these words, Jennifer suddenly felt a little short of breath.

She sarcastically responded, “So?”

“So you should explain clearly to the professor later that all of this was done by you and has nothing to do with Sarah.”
“What about me?”
