He tried to change the subject and brought up.
Leo. “She misses him. I know she does.”
His mother laughed. “Do you think you know

Jason clenched his fists. He was tired of hearing this. He tried to leave the situation.

As he approached Leo, his mother pulled the boy back. “If you go near that boy, I’ll take him from you, too.”
Jason lost all his strength, slumped down on the sofa, and muttered, “Sarah, where are you? I miss you so much.”
After I left, he looked for me.

coffee, I froze.
Jason was surprised, too. He stared. “Sarah?”
My heart skipped a beat. “Here’s your coffee.”
I handed him the coffee. He stuttered.
His eyes were filled with joy. “Sarah, I finally
found you.”
“I’m not Sarah. I’m here to deliver your coffee.”
I handed him the coffee again.

Once I delivered the coffee, I turned around.
He grabbed my arm. “Please stay for a bit.”
I frowned, pulled my arm away, and said,
“You’re mistaken. That’s not my name.”
I turned to leave, but he called, “Leo can say
‘Mama‘ now. Even if you don’t want to see me,
won’t you see your child?”
I paused, but I didn’t look back.
After that, he ordered delivery from the coffee
shop two more times.
I made sure to pay someone else to deliver.
He stopped ordering.
Just when I thought he was going to give up, he
came to the shop with Leo.
