I was still livestreaming.
“Sir, ask my followers!”
“They know where I’ve been.”
“They have been watching my livestream about
the brands!”
The girl’s dad pulled out his phone.

“The account that contacted us was called
Mandy Miller, are you trying to deny that?”
I took the phone and saw Jessica had been
using my account.
The messages made my blood boil.
[“Redneck, who cares if your daughter dies?“]
[“I’m not going to apologize.“]
[“It doesn’t matter if you try to get me
canceled.“]
[“As soon as I cry on camera, my fans will forgive me.“]
[“I’m not paying my PR team for nothing!“]
[“Come at me, show up at my company!“]
The employees were cursing.
“You’re so evil!”
“What comes around, goes around!”
“I understand why her parents brought a knife
now!”
“She deserves to have her face cut off!”
“Who would want to work at this company, we
could all become accessories to murder!”
I looked at Jessica.
“Jessica, didn’t you borrow my account the
other day?”
She froze.
This situation was not going the way she
planned.
I was still alive.
“I… I didn’t.”
“Mandy, I know you are scared, but you can’t
just blame it on me.”
“What’s happening?”
My husband, Tom, came out to see what was
going on.
Jessica grabbed his arm.
“Tom, Mandy did something terrible.”
“She threw clam chowder on a little girl and
blamed it on me!”
Tom sighed.
“Honey, why would you do that?”
“You should go inside, I will handle this.”
く
So, you think I did it.
Tom must have been involved.
He did not help when I died last time.
Jessica and Tom must have been having an
affair.
The girl’s dad had his friends bring a pot of
scalding clam chowder.
“Your husband said it was you, are you still
trying to deny it?”
“Today, you will suffer the way my daughter
suffered!”
I grabbed the man’s arm.
“Sir, it wasn’t me!”
“I have people that can prove it!”
“You can call the livestream account right now,
you’ll see that it’s not me!”
The girl’s mother stared at me.
“You were wearing that dress that day!”
“Are you trying to escape responsibility?”
The employees whispered to each other:
“Mandy is stabbing Jessica in the back!”
“I heard she stole Tom from Jessica.”
“The girl’s family came because she sent them those messages.”
“Who is going to help her now?”
The girl’s dad was angry.
“Do it!”

As the clam chowder came toward me, I
shouted, “You have the wrong person!”
“Otherwise, this little girl will never get justice!”
The brand rep put his hand on the father’s
shoulder.
“Sir, you can call the livestream account.”
“Mandy has been with us the last few days.”
The father hesitated and dialed the number.
Jessica tried to stop him, but her phone started
ringing.

Jessica’s phone suddenly rang, and the sound
was jarringly loud in the tense atmosphere.
Everyone’s eyes snapped to her like spotlights.

Her face went white.

She fumbled for her phone and rejected the
video call.
“It wasn’t me,” she stammered, shaking her
head and looking around in panic.
“It was just someone calling at the wrong time.”
“Yeah, just a coincidence.”
“Honey, a man’s gotta take responsibility for his
actions.”
“Let’s just pay up and be done with it, don’t
drag innocent people into this!”
Tom reached for Jessica’s phone, trying to hide
- it.
I was faster.
く
I snatched it away.
“Let’s just show everyone the truth, shall we?”
Jessica thought I would be killed as soon as I
got here and would not have a chance to
explain.
She even provoked the family to come to the
company this morning.
She hadn’t even bothered to log out of my
account.
I held the phone out to the girl’s dad.
“Take a look, is this the account?”
“Yes, yes, that’s the one!” he said, his voice
shaking with anger.
I pulled up my text messages with Jessica.
<
“Here, look at our messages.”
“This is her asking to borrow my account.”
[“Honey, Mandy, I’m unemployed!“]
[“Is being an influencer easy money?“]
[“Your methods for building your business are
too hard, I can’t be bothered with that, can I
borrow your account?“]
[“I went to the clam bake and did a livestream,
it was so funny, can I keep it for a few days?“]
“And these are photos I took at the brand’s
factory,” I said.
“So there’s no way I could have been the one
causing trouble.”
The employees were murmuring in shock.
The girl’s dad slowly turned to Jessica, his body trembling with rage.
“So, you were playing us this whole time, and
almost made us hurt an innocent woman.”
He rubbed his hands on the knife.
Jessica freaked out, but the relatives blocked
her escape.
