Lily sat on the sofa and rested on his shirt beneath her. As she could no longer wear her dress now, she sat there with her long, slender legs dangling idly. “How on earth am I supposed to go out like this?” she asked.
“Samson will bring some clothes,” Robert replied as he smoked by the window without turning around.
Lily nodded and murmured, “Thank goodness for him.” She examined her dress closely and confirmed she couldn’t wear it. Then, she thought for a while before she crumpled it up and tossed it into the trash can.
Returning to the couch, she took our phone.
Lily noticed a text from Craig, the guy from the plane, asking what she was up to. Realizing. that he had sent the message a while ago, she guessed that she was sleeping with Robert at that time and missed it.
After a moment’s thought, she fired back a quick response, claiming she had been taking a shower and missed the notification.
Not long after sending the text, Craig rang her. The phone was set to vibration mode, but Robert could hear the device buzzing. Even so, he kept smoking without missing a beat. He was naked from the waist up, and he was barefooted.
After glancing at him, she turned back to her phone to take the call.
“Ms. Williams,” someone greeted.
“What’s up?” she replied.
He chuckled. “I’ve got some free time tomorrow. If you’re still in Avalon, we could head out somewhere if you’re up for it. I know a few cool pots.”
Lily glanced down at her feet, and a smile tugged at the corners of her lips. “A trip, huh? I’ll have to see. I’m not sure if I’ll have time tomorrow, and I haven’t quite figured out my plans for it.”
Craig wasn’t disappointed. “I see. Well, I’ll give you a call tomorrow then to check if you’re free.”
She happily agreed, but her smile still didn’t fade the moment she ended the call.

As a result, the reticent Robert finally broke the silence. “Why don’t you go out with him? Aren’t you here to unwind? You should go out and enjoy yourself. Only then can you relax.”
Lily glanced at her phone and said softly, “I didnt feel like going out with him. I have another admirer, so I’m waiting to see if he’ll ask me out tomorrow.”
Robert paused and smiled. “Fair enough. It’s always good to keep your options open,” he said.
Lily smiled in agreement. “Absolutely. It’s only natural to compare in situations like this.” She turned to face him. “What about you? Aren’t you doing the same thing, Mr. Taylor?”
Robert half–turned to meet her gaze. He noted how her hair cascaded over her breasts and covered the important parts.
Her other areas were fair.
She smiled brightly; it was probably because she had experienced something physically demanding, so there was a sparkle in her eyes.
At that moment, she appeared more captivating than ever before.
He paused briefly and turned his attention to the window. “I don’t feel the need to keep my options pen,” he remarked with a hint of arrogance.
Yet, he wasn’t entirely wrong. Since every woman would flock to him anyway, there was no need to keep his options open.
Lily chuckled softly. “Of course. I forgot about this. Whenever you need a woman, you can just say the word, and they’ll come rushing to you.
Robert smiled in agreement and stubbed out his cigarette on the windowsill.
The conversation ended there.
Lily took her phone to ask Samson when he would be delivering the clothes. Samson didn’t respond to her, which left her wondering whether he had seen her text or not.
She couldn’t help glancing at Robert again. He held his phone in one hand while his other hand was in his pocket as he gazed outside.
