Lily raised her head several times to look at Robert before asking for his opinion while she was ordering. She noticed a suspicious person sitting not too far away from them.

She handed the menu to Robert and asked, after ordering what she wanted, “Do you have anything else you want to add to the order?”

Robert continued to pretend as if he was staring at the menu. “He snapped a photo of us with his phone when we came over and sat down just now,”
That had confirmed Lily’s suspicion.
Then, she acknowledged Robert and stayed quiet following that.
-They called the waiter over to bring the menu away after they had placed their orders.
Lily and Robert were left alone afterward.
Where had Samson gone off to? Why isn’t he back yet?
Lily tried to start a conversation, but she felt a little awkward in the silence. “What am I supposed to do next if I were to help you?”

Robert thought over it for a bit, and he decided that they would need to stay in the same room.

However, Robert did not tell her about that. “I haven’t thought about it either. Let’s wait and see how Solaris Group responds. I don’t think you need to do anything else if they remain as they are as long as news of our divorce doesn’t spread.”
Lily nodded in acknowledgment of his words after hearing that.
Then, it was silence all over again.
Lily couldn’t figure out why it felt so awkward between them now.
Things were never like that in the past. They could still get along with each other as usual.

Lily realized Samson’s intention after that. She asked as she leaned back against the chair, “That’s enough. Did anyone ever tell you that you’re terrible at acting?”

Samson got up after saying that, and he slowly walked out of the restaurant with his hand holding his stomach.
Lily sneered coldly. Then, she turned her head and glanced at Robert. “Does he have some sort of misunderstanding about us? Why is he so persistent?”
Naturally, Robert had also sensed that. But, he only got up and moved over to the seat opposite her without saying anything.
Lily asked as she stared at him, “Who was the woman who drugged you? Was it the young lady we met by the beach the other day?”
Robert was stunned as he didn’t expect her to bring this up. He fell silent for a while before answering. “That’s right.”
She smiled after hearing that. “Why am I not surprised?”
Lily could tell that the woman had feelings for Robert. A woman’s intuition was always quite accurate after
all.
She continued when Robert went silent on her, “She looks rather attractive. You could have…”
Lily didn’t finish her sentence. She only raised her brows at him a few times to hint at what he might have missed out on.
Robert couldn’t help but frown helplessly in response.
On the other hand, Lily smiled. “You’re single anyway. It’s totally normal even if you did something.”
