I left the hospital, saw Dad and Wyatt.
My face is new, but they knew me.
“Star!”
Dad has grey hair.
He’s a mess.
“Star, I messed up.”
“I thought you were going after Brittany. I just
wanted to scare you. I didn’t want to hurt
you!”
“I didn’t think it would go this far…”
I look at him.
“You deliberately delayed my surgery. You put
the video online. You ruined my life, and you
didn’t want to hurt me?”

Wyatt says, “Brittany manipulated me. I
trusted her.”
“Star, you’re my sister. I’m so sorry! I should
die!”
They still think they are correct.
I shake my head. “Mom died because of
Brittany’s mom! You helped Brittany! Do you
hate Mom that much?”
Wyatt goes white. “What have I done?!”
Dad grabs my hand, crying.
“Star, you’re joking, right? Don’t leave us.”
“You’re so young. What will you do without
Dad and Wyatt?”
My proud dad is begging.
“Give us one more chance!”
Grandpa blocks me.

don’t listen!”
I say, “He’s our grandpa.”
“He’s Mom’s dad. He owns Dad’s company.”
Dad’s shocked.
“No way…”
Grandpa calls for security, and Brittany shows

“Dad, I got kicked out of college! They’re all
trash talking! Help me!”
