“It’s me, Dad, Mom…”
I held on with my last hope.
There were scattered petals by my hand.
“I… I wanted to give them to you.”
Mom and Dad took a step back, their faces
turning cold.
“We didn’t bring you out, who let you out here
without permission.”
Mom even put Madison in her arms.
“No wonder Madison felt so insecure, did you
say something to her?”
I suddenly laughed. “Why would you think that
“Because you’re the only one who’s that evil,
you’re the kind of person who can heartlessly
push your own mother to jump off a building!”
Tears ran down my face.
Dad put his arms around the mother and
daughter, turned around, and started to walk
back.
“She’s not worthy of being our daughter. Help
me kick her out, please.”
After he said that, the girls felt like they had a
backer.
“Now that Uncle Scott has left you to us, we’ll
just take out our anger for your aunt and
uncle.”
“Why be polite to someone who drove her own mother to jump off a building? Hit her,
don’t hold back!”
I didn’t move, letting the fists and feet fall on
- me.
I really wasn’t needed by this world.

Mom and Dad had a new daughter.
And I would be the one who drove her own
mother to jump off a building for the rest of
my life.
“Stop!”
Before I was about to pass out, I seemed to
see the boy in my memory rushing toward me.
