put that gold digger in her place.
Finally, I’d married a guy who could see
through that kind of BS.
So, after dinner that night, after my in–laws
had left, I wrapped my arms around Jake’s
waist.
He raised an eyebrow. “What’s this?”
“A reward,” I said, kissing him as he looked
down at me.
He hesitated for a split second, then cupped
the back of my head and deepened the kiss.
