“Sarah, I…”
I smiled. “Don’t say anything. I get it. You’ve
known her since you were a kid. It’s hard to
think she would be capable of setting me up. I
don’t blame you.”
He looked shocked.
“Dinner tonight, Professor Mark?”
I asked softly. “You busy with Ashley?”

“No.”
Mark was resolute.
I was surprised but laughed.
“Okay. Tonight at seven, I’ll make…”
“At home, okay?”
Mark was serious.
“Sure. I’ll pick up the groceries.”
“I’ll do it.”
