Liam was tearing the world apart to find me.
I walked down the street in another country.
The jade fragments were still in my pocket. I

My mom was limited on where she could

“If it turns out that Liam was only marrying
me for the evidence and to get out of the law,
is that a scam?”

“Yes, I need you to return to the country.”
I booked a flight to the US and headed back
to the country.
