“Do you want to know why I agreed to marry you?” He suddenly asked. I thought for a while before saying, “Because our marriage was arranged by your father and you couldn’t refuse?”
“Why can’t I refuse him?” His eyes narrowed, “I’m not afraid of him. In fact, I had asked your sister out to cancel our marriage.”
I was stunned while he added, “But, I met you instead and decided to marry you.”
I hesitated for a moment before I asked,
“Why? I mean what special was in me that you decided to marry me?”
“You reminded me of my Mom,” he said in a soft voice. I could see a faint happiness in his eyes while mentioning his mother. I couldn’t help asking, “How was your mother, James?”

“I would love to,” I said excitedly. He paused for a moment, then continued,
