Chapter 96 The Truth
Vivian got angry. “Sarah, what is going on? I praised your design
as unique. But it turns out you copied it from a famous painter. How could you say it was your work? You even accused Jennifer of copying you.”
Now Vivian realized that Sarah was not honest.
Sarah had a chance to explain, but she said nothing. She kept saying that Jennifer was the one copying.
Her face turned pale. She didn’t know how to explain.
Jennifer looked at Sarah with a mocking smile. “Now it’s your turn to explain. Why is your design so similar to the famous painter’s? You thought you could fool us, didn’t you?”
Sarah’s sidekick quickly said, “Ms. Hoover, if Jennifer can borrow ideas from the painter, why can’t Sarah? It’s just a little
similar.”
Vivian slammed the table. “I never said you can’t borrow ideas. from masters, but you can’t copy the whole design. This is about your integrity as a designer.”
Sarah started to cry and apologized. “Ms. Hoover, I’m sorry. I promise it won’t happen again.”
Sarah had no choice but to admit her mistake.

Otherwise, she would have to say she copied from Jennifer, which would be even harder to explain.
This time, too careless.

Vivian said angrily, “Sarah, I’m disappointed in you. I’ve decided you should no longer be the class rep.”
Dishonest people shouldn’t take important roles.
Sarah said with tears in her eyes, “I’m sorry, Ms. Hoover. I let you down.”
Vivian turned to Jennifer and said, “Your design fits the theme. of my new project perfectly. Would you like to join us?”
“Of course, I would love to,” Jennifer replied.
It would benefit her career in the future.
The project was grand, and it would boost her reputation.
Unhappily about Jennifer taking her place, Sarah broke her newly painted nails.
She had been tricked by Jennifer.
Jennifer was too cunning to deal with.
Jennifer sat back in her seat and looked at Sarah with a mocking
smile.

Sarah was pissed off and cursed inwardly.
After class, Jennifer discussed her new design with Vivian.
Sarah left angrily. She wouldn’t let Jennifer win.
Vivian was impressed with Jennifer’s ideas. “I didn’t know you were so talented. Were you hiding your skills before?”
Jennifer smiled bitterly, “I didn’t see clearly before, but now I do. I have to live for myself.”
Vivian said, “I heard some rumors about your family, but I. didn’t expect them to be so biased. Sarah’s former homework was also done by you, right?”
Jennifer lowered her eyes. “Those are all in the past.”
Vivian said, “I understand. I look forward to your future designs. Please design more when you have time.
“I won’t let you down, Ms. Hoover.” Jennifer was excited.
As she left school, a car pulled up beside her. “Jennifer!”
The window rolled down, revealing Timothy’s mother.
Jennifer fidgeted. “Mrs. Millie Clark, do you need something?”
“Get in the car, and we’ll talk,” replied Millie.

Jennifer was nervous but complied.
The car was quiet. Jennifer rarely talked to Millie, who didn’t like her.
Jennifer was expected by Millie’s visit.
Millie looked at Jennifer. “Are your classes very busy?”
“Yes, I have many classes and lots of homework.”
“Do you have time to take care of my son?”
Jennifer replied hesitantly, “Mr. Clark doesn’t like people getting close to him.”

“But you are his fiancée. You have to take care of him. Your family is not good enough for our family. We hope you can get along with him and have a child soon.”
Millie didn’t like Jennifer, but Angelina did, so others couldn’t do anything.
Jennifer couldn’t argue. “I understand.”
“Good. I heard about your fight with the Hargreaves family. The partnership cannot be dissolved easily. You need to make up with them,” Millie said.
Jennifer finally understood why Millie came to see her.
It was because of this matter.
