Millie added, “Jennifer, the Hargreaves family is still your family. Even if you have issues with them, you shouldn’t let them go bankrupt. You should be grateful. When you see your Asher, explain things properly, understand?”

Jennifer felt upset and looked down. She took out her phone to
text Timothy, but she didn’t know what to say.
She wanted to ask him for help.
But Timothy didn’t have to help her all the time.

Jennifer thought for a moment and then turned off her phone.
Soon, the car stopped at a restaurant.
Millie got out with a designer bag in hand. Her manners were
noble.
Jennifer followed her into a private room.
There, she saw Asher, Daniel, and Sarah.
When Millie arrived, everyone stood up.
Sarah wore a white dress and looked innocent. She quickly went to Millie. “Hello, Mrs. Millie Clark.”
Millie nodded slightly and ignored Sarah. She looked at Asher. “I brought her here. You handle your family matters.”

Asher politely said, “Thank you, Mrs. Millie Clark, for arranging this.”
“Don’t get the wrong idea. If it weren’t for Angelina’s orders, I wouldn’t waste my time. I don’t want this to affect my son. After all, the deal with the Hargreaves family is his business. If there are problems, it won’t be good for him,” Millie said.
She never liked the Hargreaves family. If it weren’t for her son, she wouldn’t have come.

Millie finally looked at Sarah. “You are the Hargreaves family’s adopted daughter?”
Sarah looked happy. “Yes, I am Sarah.”
Millie said, “I don’t care about your name. Since you know you caused this problem, you should leave the Hargreaves family. Then these things won’t happen.”
She knew Sarah was pretending.
