Sarah answered confidently, “Of course. I was just off my game earlier. There’s no way I wouldn’t know the answer. Let’s discuss it again later, and we’ll come up with the perfect response.”
Sarah usually did well in school.
So, despite the earlier hiccup, most of the class still chose to side with Sarah.
A small number chose Jennifer.
After all, some weren’t blind to what was really happening.
Jennifer sat down with a few classmates to discuss the problem, glancing at them. “I didn’t think anyone would join my group.”
She hadn’t expected anyone to actually choose her group!
It surprised her.
“Because we’re not stupid or blind. We’ve seen how Sarah has always bossed you around.”
“Yeah, we’re just average students with average backgrounds. There’s not much we can do.”

Jennifer felt a bit emotional. “Thanks, everyone. Let’s get back to discussing the question.”
“Honestly, we don’t really get it. We’re counting on you.”
“There’s nothing you can’t learn. I’ll explain it so next time you can handle these questions yourselves.”
Jennifer took a pen and patiently explained the problem.
The classroom buzzed with activity for a while.
Vincent glanced at the two groups. Jennifer’s side looked sparse and weak.
But deep down, he knew Jennifer wouldn’t lose.
When the time was up, Vincent knocked on the desk. “Time’s up. Who
10 go first?”
“Either way is fine.”
Sarah, brimming with confidence, said,
Sadie glanced over at Jennifer’s side. “Let Jennifer go first. We
don’t want her copying our solution process.”
Jennifer stood up. “No problem. Everyone has their own approach; copying isn’t even an option.”
She walked up to the blackboard, wrote the answer with chalk,

When Jennifer finished, her group members started clapping enthusiastically.
Sarah’s mood darkened at the sight of Jennifer’s group cheering. Jennifer used to be isolated at school.
But ever since Jennifer had changed, everything seemed to shift around her.
Sarah felt uneasy. She wouldn’t let Jennifer escape her grasp.
She wanted Jennifer to live under her shadow forever.
Sadie pouted. “The professor hasn’t said if Jennifer’s answer was even correct.”
Vincent calmly said, “Jennifer’s answer was excellent, and her approach was unique. She’s improved a lot lately.”
Sarah’s mood sank further when she heard Vincent praising Jennifer.
“Your turn, Sarah.”
Sarah took her draft notes and stepped up to the board to write out her solution process.
She quickly finished and looked at Vincent. “I’m done.”
“Hold on, you haven’t explained your thought process or why
Chapter 111 The Schemer Miscalculated Thi… 4/5 you approached the problem this way.”
Sarah’s expression stiffened. “Professor Moore, I’ve written the answer. There’s no need to explain it again. Everyone should understand.”
“Exactly, we’re not show–offs who explain everything in detail ‘like we’re all elementary students.”
A hint of smugness flashed in Sarah’s eyes. “Don’t say that. Everyone has their own way.”
A member of Jennifer’s group quickly spoke up, “But Jennifer’s detailed explanation taught us a lot.”
“Yeah, Jennifer’s method was easy to follow. We all found it really helpful.”
Sarah felt deeply uncomfortable. This group was really getting on her nerves.
“Jennifer helps them with some homework, and now they’re defending her?”
Jennifer smirked at Sarah. “Since you solved the problem too, why not explain your thought process? Or is it that you can’t?”
“Who says I can’t?”
Sarah turned to the board, but she had no real understanding of the solution.

Earlier, Asher had sent her the answer along with some hints on the method, which she could now use.
Sarah stammered as she repeated the thought process.
She glanced nervously at Vincent, unsure if she had passed.
Vincent said, “You may take your seat, Sarah.”
Sarah exhaled with relief and sat down, slowly regaining her
composure.
“This should be fine, right?”
If her answer were wrong, Vincent would have flipped out on the spot!
Sadie spoke up, “Professor Moore, both groups have finished. Are we both passing?”
Everyone’s attention was now on this.
Vincent looked at everyone and said, “No, only one grou
