Chapter 175 Not Her Fault
Jennifer wasn’t surprised by Daniel’s words at all.
Growing up, whenever there was a conflict between her and Sarah, all it took was for Sarah to shed a few lears, and it would always end up being Jennifer’s fault.
Even if Sarah was in the wrong, Jennifer would still be told to be magnanimous and not hold grudges against her.
She had had enough of it.
Daniel snapped, “Jennifer, I’m talking to you. What’s with that attitude?”
He had lost face at the awards ceremony because of her.
His dignity had been undermined.
Originally, he had come here intending to brush off the incident, but seeing Jennifer’s defiant expression made him want to put her in her place.
After all, she was the one who struck first this time.
She was the one at fault.
If Jennifer wanted this to end, she had to bow to him.
mind?”
“What do you mean by that?”
“The reporters on the entertainment headlines are making baseless accusations. Weren’t you all there last night? Jason and only attended the awards ceremony together. Our relationship is strictly professional, and there’s nothing inappropriate between us in private.”
ne glanced at Sarah and added, “But as soon as these two bitches walked into the classroom, they started spreading rumors and attacking Timothy. Giving them a beating was letting them off lightly. I’d have my lawyer sue them for defamation, and they’d be sitting in jail right now.
“If anyone should apologize, it’s them apologizing to me.”
It shouldn’t be the other way around.
Daniel hadn’t expected Jennifer to be so fierce.
He hesitated for a moment and turned to Sarah. “Is what she said true?”
She replied, “Daniel, we didn’t slander her. We were just concerned about her, reminding her to be careful about the entertainment news. Who knew she’d be so sensitive?”
Sadie chimed in, “Exactly. Sarah was just being kind, but Jennifer overreacted and even hit people. We’ll be hiring a

lawyer too. She’s not the only one who can do that.”
Sarah exchanged a glance with her.

As long as they denied everything, Jennifer wouldn’t have any evidence to fight them.
The dean turned to Jennifer. “Your actions have indeed caused u negative impact online, so it’s not unreasonable for people to talk about it.”
adie smirked, “Jennifer seems worked up. Could it be because she feels guilty? Such an overreaction.”
Jennifer snapped, “Say that again?”
“Am I wrong?” Sadie shot back.
Sarah stepped in, pretending to be magnanimous. “Jennifer, I understand how you feel. Since we’re family, I’m willing to let this go, but you need to apologize to Sadie.”
Sadie tilted her chin arrogantly. “I was planning to pursue this in court, but since Sarah is willing to forgive you, I’ll let it slide if you apologize.”
“We’ll see about that,” Jennifer said.
She grabbed a cup from the table and splashed its contents onto Sadic.
Sadic shrieked as the water hit her, while Sarah dodged but still

got splashed.
Standing behind them, Daniel wasn’t spared either.

He wiped the water off his face, frowning. “Jennifer, if you refuse to settle this, it’ll get back to the Clark family. That won’t be good for you.”
Sarah feigned concern. “Exactly. I recall that Timothy’s mother doesn’t approve of you being in the spotlight. If she hears about the rumors involving you and a male celebrity, she might be
urious.”
Jennifer hadn’t considered that.
Her head began to ache as her mood plummeted further.
Just then, a deep, commanding voice cut through the tension. “Matters of the Clark family are none of your concern.”
Timothy entered the office in his wheelchair, flanked by several people.
Dressed in a dark suit, he looked sharp.
His arrival unsettled Sarah and Sadie. The Clark family wasn’t a force they dared to provoke.
Jennifer didn’t expect him to be there.
It looked like the Clarks had caught wind of this.
