Chapter 205 I’ll Move Out Today
Jennifer put her full strength into the slap she gave Sarah. She stared at Sarah and sternly said, “Mind your words.”
“Am I wrong? That’s how the media is reporting it now. Jennifer, I don’t want to take everything from you. I’m doing this for the sake of the Hargreaves family.”
Sarah held her cheek, putting on a look of grievance.
Asher shielded Sarah and scolded Jennifer, “Speak nicely! How could you hit her in front of so many people?”
Was Jennifer not caring about her image at all?
Millie was still here.
Jennifer said indifferently, “So what? I’ve already severed ties with you. Why should I still endure?”
Of course, she was going to do as she pleased.
Asher didn’t want to waste words with Jennifer. He turned to Millie. “After all, the cooperation between our two families was decided by Madam Clark. I think such a significant matter as dissolving the engagement should be known to Madam Clark.”
Millie put down her coffee cup. “Are you trying to threaten me with Madam Clark? If something happens to her when she finds
out, can you afford to take the responsibility?”
“I didn’t mean that. We are at fault in this matter. I came to apologize.”
“But you haven’t even discussed it among yourselves, and your apology lacks sincerity.”
Millie deliberately glanced at Jennifer. She was angry because Jennifer dared to propose dissolving the engagement.
Asher looked at Jennifer and said, “You come back with me first. We’ll discuss how to handle this matter properly.”
“There’s nothing to discuss. Timothy and I have already decided to dissolve the engagement.”
Millie said angrily, “If you’ve already made up your mind, why are you still lingering in my son’s house?”
Jennifer replied, “I will move out soon.”
With that, she went straight upstairs to her bedroom to pack her luggage.
She found her suitcase but suddenly realized she didn’t have much there. These clothes, jewelry, and bags were all provided by the Clark family.
Many of them were bought by Angelina.
Jennifer only took her old clothes and the photos of her parents.

Passing by the dressing mirror, she saw the pink diamond necklace around her neck, which Timothy had given her.
Jennifer took off the necklace.

Then, she tried to remove the bracelet, only to find it missing.
Jennifer immediately became nervous. The bracelet seemed to be on her wrist during the day. How could it have disappeared?
She searched her bag for a long time without finding it.
“Could it have fallen off at the studio?” she thought.
Jennifer packed her suitcase, planning to go to the studio later to look for it.
As she dragged her suitcase downstairs, Millie was no longer there. Only Timothy was sitting on the sofa.
She walked over. “Where are your mother and the Hargreaves family?”
“They’ve left.”
Timothy spoke indifferently, glancing at the suitcase Jennifer was dragging. “I remember from the moment you came here, you said you wanted me to cancel the cooperation with the Hargreaves family.”
That’s right.”

Jennifer nodded. “At that time, you didn’t believe what I said, and I stayed shamelessly. Thank you for taking care of me during this time.”
“So you’ve been using me from the start, leveraging the Clark family to get rid of the Hargreaves?”
His voice was incredibly calm, yet it inexplicably put pressure on Jennifer.
Jennifer met his deep gaze, not knowing what to say for a
moment.
She finally replied with self–mockery, “Yes.”
What Timothy said was indeed her initial thought.
But after their interactions over this period, many things had changed, but now she couldn’t bring herself to say it, nor did she know how to express it.
Timothy turned his wheelchair and faced away from her. “Then you may leave.”
Since she wanted freedom, he wouldn’t stand in her way.
Jennifer looked at his back and couldn’t help but speak up, “Timothy, I said I could cure your leg. I…”
“This matter has nothing to do with you.”
Timothy interrupted her and left immediately. Jennifer stood in place, watching his back for a while, feeling somewhat choked
- up.
Ryan came over, speaking with a harsh tone, “Ms. Hargreaves, it’s time for you to leave.”
Ryan had never liked Jennifer, thinking that she approached Timothy with ulterior motives. It turned out he was right..
Jennifer left King Villa with her suitcase, feeling as if everything had returned to square one.
She looked back, her gaze subconsciously moving to the study on the second floor.
With the curtains drawn, she couldn’t see inside.
Jennifer withdrew her gaze and walked away with her suitcase.
She hadn’t gone far when a car pulled up beside her. Jason rolled down the window and said, “Jennifer, get in.”
