Chapter 318 I Won’t Forget
Jennifer glared coldly at Dylan, refusing to back down.

Dylan scoffed, saying, “Millic, you see this? If this is the kind of attitude Jennifer has about apologizing today, then I can’t accept any apologies from the Clark family.”
Sarah smirked, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “Jennifer, why are you being so stubborn? It’s just a simple apology. You’ve done it before, haven’t you?”
She was determined to teach this arrogant woman a lesson and was eager to see how Jennifer would act after this.
Sarah recalled how humiliated she felt during class today because of Jennifer.
Turning back to Millie, she feigned concern. “You see? It’s not. that the Hargreaves family is being petty; it’s just that Jennifer’s attitude is completely unacceptable.”
Millie’s eyes burned with anger. “Jennifer, why won’t you just apologize? Are you trying to ruin my son’s chances of ever standing again?”
Adding fuel to the fire, Sarah chimed in, “Let’s not forget, Jennifer, that your engagement to Mr. Clark was made possible thanks to the research from Dylan’s lab. You can’t possibly think you can keep the title of Mrs. Clark while sabotaging Dylan’s

work on the special medicine, can you?”
Jennifer retorted, “I want nothing more than for Timothy to stand up again.”

“Come on, Jennifer, don’t lie. You’re clearly trying to stop Timothy from recovering so you can hold onto that Mrs. Clark title. You can’t be that cruel,” Sarah accused, her words igniting Millie’s fury.
Millie stepped closer, her voice low and fierce. “I’m telling you to apologize. Do you hear me?”
Jennifer remained expressionless, staring defiantly at Millie. “I won’t apologize.”
“Do you really think I can’t make you? Someone, hold her down and make her apologize!”
Millie’s eyes were filled with rage. “Jennifer, you think you can stall and keep my son from healing while you cling to the title of Mrs. Clark? Dream on!”
Jennifer felt the bodyguard’s grip tighten as they forced her head down.
“A bunch of hypocrites!” she spat.
From the sidelines, Sarah reveled in the drama. “Jennifer, you messed up. You owe Dylan an apology.”
Dylan watched Jennifer’s defiance with a smug expression. “I

told you before, you’re in over your head. If you had just admitted your mistake sooner, you wouldn’t be in this mess.”
He fell a wave of relief wash over him.

“Jennifer, your apology lacks sincerity. How about this: you can come to the lab and clean up. You can leave only when I’m. satisfied with your work.”
To him, the last thing he needed was for her to sneak around and try to get involved in the research for the special medicine.
That would be disastrous for him.
Right now, the Hargreaves family could only leverage the special medicine, and he couldn’t let Jennifer ruin his plans.
Pain shot through Jennifer’s leg and forehead as she was dragged away by the bodyguard.
Millie turned to Dylan, determination etched on her face. “Alright, I’ll take her to see the lab and check out your research.”
Dylan nodded. “Sounds good.”
He glanced at the disheveled Jennifer and added, “If you don’t get the cleaning done on time, you won’t get any food.”
Dylan had been locked up and starving for so long that he intended to make her pay for it.
He couldn’t take it out on Timothy, so Jennifer would have to

bear the brunt of his frustration. After all, if it weren’t for her, he wouldn’t have been imprisoned at Kinglet Villa.
With that, Jennifer was dragged into the research facility, her fate uncertain.
As Millie and Dylan walked ahead, Sarah deliberately lagged behind, casting a smug glance at Jennifer. “I told you this day would come, and here it is,” she said, a triumphant smile spreading across her face.
Watching Jennifer get put in her place by Millie filled Sarah with glee.
She pulled out her phone, a mischievous glint in her eye. “I even recorded your little apology for posterity. Just a little keepsake so you won’t forget today.”
Jennifer shot a cold glare at Sarah. “I won’t forget. You all will remember this day, too.”
Inside, she felt a storm brewing, a desire to unleash chaos and make sure everyone suffered alongside her.
