Behind the hotel manager, Mr. Everett, came a group of ten or so hotel security guards. The lively atmosphere of the wedding froze instantly.
With a calm and kind expression, Mr. Everett walked up to Cole and Winona.
The emcee was pushed aside and Mr. Everett handed over a bill. “Mr. Lewis, hello, I’m the person in charge of Yucca Hotel. The thing is, when you made the reservation, you didn’t pay the deposit. Now, could you please pay the fees for the banquet?”
The bodyguards in black kept order at the
scene.

business? Can’t you see I’m getting married? You‘ re coming here to collect a debt now? You‘ re really trying to embarrass me, aren’t you? Does the Hale Family care about this bit of banquet fee?”
“He’s right. Bring your boss here! I want to file a complaint about you!” Winona followed behind, pointing at the manager and cursing.
Ever since Cole started getting close to me, whether it was work or life, he often used the Hale Family ‘s name to get by.
In the past, I viewed him through a filter, thinking we were in a relationship. Since I had feelings for him, it didn’t seem wrong for him to take advantage of me now and then.

When he saw the figure of 200 thousand dollars on the bill, his face turned pale instantly.

eye.
