Otherwise, Abigail might literally blow a gasket. The risks of bringing a man back home so recklessly were beyond. imagination.

She gritted her teeth and forced herself to remain patient. “So, what makes you think you’re in trouble?”
Amy’s voice on the other end of the line was full of anxiety. “Well, the thing is, now it’s almost evening, and he’s still out cold, like a log. Doesn’t show any sign of waking up. Do you think he’s gonna sleep through it all? Should I take him to the hospital? I’m not responsible for this, right? He’s the one who insisted on drinking all that.”
Abigail let out a small, helpless laugh, but couldn’t help but shake her head.
She glanced at Felix beside her. He had a small, amused smile tugging at the corner of his mouth–clearly, he was intrigued by the situation.
“Abigail, you haven’t told Felix about this, have you?” Amy’s voice came through the phone, a little desperate. “You really can’t tell him!”
Before Abigail could respond, Felix interjected with a casual tone, “Too late. I know everything from start to finish.”

For a moment, there was complete silence on the other end of the line.
Abigail could practically feel the weight of Amy’s mortification through the phone screen.
Before she could speak again, Felix took charge, his voice cool and composed. “Make sure he’s okay. Abigail and I have to go to a party, but once we’re done, if he’s still out cold, we’ll swing by, pick him up, and take him to the hospital.”
Without giving Amy a chance to reply, Felix hung up the phone.
On the other end, it was Michelle’s birthday.
Anthony had planned a grand party to celebrate her special day, and it was in full swing.
The crowd included many of the rich and well–connected, including Jason, Ryan, and Morgan, who were among the usual group of friends.
As the party kicked off, Anthony and Michelle’s entrance drew all eyes.
Michelle, stunning in a white dress that perfectly matched Anthony’s own, walked arm–in–arm with him, her face glowing with happiness.
Anthony, ever the gentleman, held her gown as they descended the staircase together.

The picture of perfect harmony, they made a striking couple, instantly sparking whispers among the guests.

“They really are the perfect match. I heard they’ve known each other since childhood–like something straight out of a drama.”
“Don’t be silly. I heard Mr. Robinson is already married, but Michelle’s his first love.”
“What? Married? But I’ve never seen Mr. Robinson bring his wife to any of these events.”
“You don’t get it. Rich guys often have a wife at home who they deeply love but take for granted, while they idealize the women they have affairs with.”
The group murmured in understanding.
Jason and Morgan exchanged knowing glances, their eyes sparkling with amusement as they watched the couple.
“See? Tomorrow, this party is definitely going to trend. Once Abigail sees it, she’ll regret everything. She’ll be begging Anthony to take her back.” Jason’s tone was full of confidence.
Morgan nodded in agreement, a smirk spreading across his face.
Meanwhile, Ryan, who had been quiet up until now, made a sharp intake of breath. “I don’t know… I’m not so sure.”
Jason and Morgan froze, turning to look at Ryan. He was staring intently at his phone screen, clearly fascinated.

The two of them hurried over, and when they saw the photo on Abigail and Felix locked in a passionate kiss at the

bar
they both stopped dead in their tracks.
“Wait, what? Is this for real? When did this happen?” Jason’s eyes nearly popped out of his head.
“It was just sent to me by a friend. Apparently, it was last night at the bar,” Ryan replied, zooming in on the details for a better look.
“Doesn’t look staged,” Morgan chimed in, squinting at the photo as well.
Jason slapped his forehead. “Last night? After the divorce. hearing with Anthony, Abigail went to a bar and made out with some random guy?”
Ryan raised an eyebrow. “Yeah. Whether it’s staged or real doesn’t really matter. The point is, in a setting like that, with at little alcohol, adults don’t usually play innocent.”
At Ryan’s analysis, both Jason and Morgan’s jaws dropped. They held their mouths in shock.
“So, Abigail’s cheating on Anthony?” Jason asked, his voice incredulous.
“Wait, Anthony’s being cheated on by Abigail?” Morgan echoed, both of them speaking in disbelief.

Before they could process further, Michelle moved to the ladies‘ room, and Anthony walked toward the three of them.
Ryan quickly pocketed his phone, and Jason and Morgan, still stunned, had no choice but to awkwardly look away.
Anthony, noticing the odd behavior of the trio, immediately approached them.

“Nothing, nothing,” Jason blurted out, sounding completely unnatural. Before he could say more, Morgan pulled him. behind.
Morgan gave Anthony a wide grin. “This party is really something, huh? Michelle must be thrilled.”
Anthony, holding a glass of wine, responded with a calm smile, “With me by her side, she’s always happy.”
Ryan, pretending to be nonchalant, took a step back, ready to make his escape with his phone.
But before he could even get very far, Anthony snatched the phone right out of his hand.
“I’ve been watching you three practically giggling and giving each other weird looks from across the room. What’s going on? What are you hiding from me?”

Ryan’s face turned a shade of red, embarrassed. Jason and Morgan, knowing Anthony’s temperament all too well, froze.

Anthony was the kind of person who, the more you tried to keep something from him, the more determined he was to find out.
Realizing they couldn’t keep up the act, the three of them stood there in silence, resigning to their fate.
Sure enough, as soon as Anthony opened the photo on Ryan’s phone and saw the zoomed–in image, his smile vanished in an
instant.
His expression darkened, his features tightening with visible
anger.
Jason and Morgan were too afraid to speak.
Ryan, sensing the tension, cautiously placed a hand on Anthony’s shoulder.
“Come on, they’re adults. Everyone has their moments of letting loose. Don’t take it to heart.”
Anthony’s lips curled into a bitter smile. “Hah, we’re about to divorce. Why would I care about something like this?”
Though he spoke dismissively, his actions told a different story. With lightning speed, he tossed Ryan’s phone into a nearby champagne glass.
Ryan froze, his mind temporarily shutting down. “That was

By the time he tried to reach for it, it was too late. The screen went black, and Anthony’s face matched the color of the phone screen–dark and stormy.
Without a word, Anthony drained his wine glass in one go.
The tension in the air was thick, and Jason and Morgan exchanged worried glances, each summoning up the courage to speak.
“Anthony, I think this might be Abigail’s plan,” Jason ventured, trying to lighten the mood.
Morgan quickly jumped in, agreeing, “Exactly. How convenient that this photo got sent to Ryan. It’s possible Abigail wanted to be seen doing this, to send a message.”
Jason nodded seriously. “It’s a classic move. A woman’s little game to make a man feel insecure, hoping he’ll apologize and beg for reconciliation.”
If this had been ten minutes ago, Anthony might have listened.
But now, his mind was consumed with the image he had just
seen.
What frustrated him the most was that the man in the photo was none other than Felix–the lawyer.
Abigail’s audacity had reached new heights. She had her little

toy boy handle her divorce proceedings, and now this?
This is beyond the pale. It’s as if she’s declaring war.
Jason and Morgan tried every comforting word and excuse they could think of, but Anthony’s expression remained as cold and hard as stone.
