Both Isabella and Sebastián left the doctor’s office, each lost in their thoughts. It was then that Sebastian, driven by desperation, asked a question that stopped Isabella in her tracks.

“What proposal?” Inesa asked

She lowered her head, full of shame, feeling the weight of his words and the coldness in his voice.
Isabella had just gotten into the taxi when her phone rang, Seeing the number, her eyes darkened.
“You still have the nerve to call?” she murmured before answering
“Isabella, you bitch! Are you going to pay for what you did?” Marcus shouted from the other side of the line.
She didn’t understand his anger, and frankly, she didn’t care.

She was about to hang up when Marcus spoke again.

She had no money, she was alone, and her desire to find her child and save her father grew stronger. If she wanted to destroy Marcus, she needed power and money. And Sebastian Ashford had all of that.
