When Abigail heard Marcus‘ voice, she stopped and looked back.

When she saw Michelle leading Marcus over, the smile on her. face immediately disappeared.
“Abigail, where are you going dressed like this?” Michelle acted as if nothing had happened and greeted Abigail as enthusiastically as ever.
With a cold face, Abigail replied, “It’s none of your business.”
After saying that, she turned and was about to leave.
Marcus stepped forward and blocked her way. “Stop making trouble and go home to do what you need to do. No one cooked when you were away.”

Back then, to take care of Marcus, she carefully prepared healthy food, but he complained about the food she cooked every day.
She thought, “Now, no one cooks for you, so you think of me?”

So, she nodded. “Yes.”
Abigail had thought that she had no advantages and was even prepared to apply for another job after leaving here.
