Chapter 44 Ambiguous Game
As the third round began, Amy and Sunny chose rock, Gavin went with paper, and both Abigail and Felix threw scissors.
Abigail reacted quickly, stepping forward and grabbing Felix’s hand.
But since they were standing a bit apart, she lost her balance and nearly stumbled right into him.
Felix’s reflexes were sharp–he immediately steadied her, and their hands ended up clasped together. The moment their eyes met, both of them froze for a second.
Whether it was the alcohol or the way the bar’s lighting seemed to cast a soft glow on everything, Abigail couldn’t help but feel a sudden rush in her chest.
For a brief moment, she found herself breathless, staring at Felix’s chiseled features.
Felix, usually composed, took a split second to react, quickly pulling Abigail upright.
When they looked up, they realized the other three had stopped playing altogether and were now staring at them with wide eyes.
The atmosphere suddenly shifted, and the trio’s expressions. turned mischievous, filled with knowing smiles that made
Chapter 44 Ambiguous Game Abigail feel distinctly uncomfortable.
“I–I think we won…” Abigail’s voice faltered slightly.
The others nodded, their smirks only growing wider as they glanced between the two of them.

Abigail and Felix exchanged a glance and, at the same time, realized their hands were still clasped together. They quickly pulled away and stepped back, nervously avoiding eye contact.
Gavin grinned, tapping his chin thoughtfully.
Feeling the weight of the stares, Felix turned the tables and focused on Sunny and Amy.
“You two didn’t grab hands, so that means you lost and have to accept your punishment.”
Sunny and Amy didn’t flinch. Both of them stood up confidently, unbothered.
“Alright, what’s the punishment?” Sunny asked, grinning.
Abigail, being new to these kinds of games, had no idea what to suggest. She simply sat back and watched the others come up with ideas.
Since Sunny was Gavin’s girlfriend, it was clear his suggestions. might be a bit biased, so Felix decided to take charge of the punishment.

Felix was unapologetically playful.

“How about this? Gavin is as skinny as a stick. Sunny, why don’t you turn him into a pole and do a little pole dance?”
Abigail couldn’t help but be amused–Felix’s suggestion was bold and a bit cheeky, but it was definitely entertaining.
As expected, neither Sunny nor Gavin seemed the least bit embarrassed.
Gavin stood up, even enjoying the idea.
He let Sunny coil around him like a playful snake, her body wrapping sensually around him.
A few moments later, they locked eyes, and in one fluid motion, Gavin pulled Sunny close and kissed her passionately, causing the group to laugh and cheer.
Once they finally separated, both of them returned to their seats, still smiling at each other.
The trio turned their attention to Amy.
Since Amy was Felix’s cousin, he didn’t come up with anything too embarrassing for her.
But Sunny, ever the instigator, raised an eyebrow and said, “Amy, you’re not getting any younger, and you don’t have a boyfriend yet. How about this–when the next good–looking guy walks in, you turn on your charm and get him to add you on
Chapter 44 Ambiguous Game WhatsApp?”
For Amy, this felt more like an amateur challenge than a real punishment.

She downed her drink in one go, put on her golden mask, and then, with a confident twist of her slim waist, stood up.
“Is that all? No one can resist my charm,” Amy replied, her voice full of playful arrogance.
Abigail watched her with a mix of curiosity and hope, her eyes fixed on Amy as she strutted toward the door.
As expected, the next moment, the door opened, and in walked a handsome young man.
But something felt off to Abigail. The man seemed oddly familiar -could it really be Justin?
Amy, on the other hand, faltered the moment she saw him.
Before Justin had even settled into the room, Amy’s voice rang out, a sharp edge to her tone.
“Why you? What are you doing here?”
Justin was taken aback, his gaze moving from Amy to the others, clearly not recognizing her at first.
“Are you talking to me?” he asked, pointing to himself.

Amy, her face a mixture of surprise and irritation, quickly removed her mask.
She’d met Justin twice before, and it was hard to hide her.
discomfort.
When Justin saw her, a mocking smile crept across his face.
“So it’s you, the ‘fierce‘ Ms. Rowe?”
Amy, already feeling a little tense, couldn’t hold back a frustrated eye–roll at his teasing.

“What are you doing here? I’m just trying to have a quiet night. You know, with law–abiding citizens.”
Realizing that Amy was less than thrilled to see him, Justin softened his tone and, after a pause, finally spoke, “Wait, this bar is yours?”
He had just finished a long day at work and was dropping something off for a friend when he’d unexpectedly run into her.
“It’s not my bar, so who else could it be?” Amy replied sarcastically.
Justin seemed to get the hint and, with a forced smile, asked, “Do you happen to know where table number two is?”
Amy pointed casually to a corner inside, still clearly put off by the encounter.

“Right there,” she said, trying to regain some composure. Justin nodded, mumbling a quick thanks, and made his way toward the table.
Amy returned to her seat, a little deflated.
It was the first time Amy had been turned down, and Gavin and Sunny were intrigued by the turn of events.
“Well, well, what’s the deal? Do you know this handsome guy?”
Amy took a sip of her drink, avoiding the question.
At that moment, Abigail was more certain than ever that the guy
was Justin.
“He’s quite the handsome guy,” Abigail commented. “Just don’t forget your task from the game.”
Amy was about to protest, hoping to switch tasks–she really didn’t have the slightest chance with this guy–when suddenly, Felix called out to Justin, who was about to leave after delivering his package.
“Mr. Moore, are you interested in joining us for a little while?”
Justin paused and turned to face Felix.
“Mr. Rowe, Ms. Taylor, you’re both here?”
Abigail was quick to smile and invite him. “Come join us!”

Abigail actually thought Justin was a nice guy. But what really appealed to her was how Amy, the beauty who could casily make any man fall at her feet, was so visibly rattled by his presence.
It was undeniable–there was some chemistry between Amy and
Justin.
If they actually hit it off, Abigail would be happy for them. Justin was a decent guy–straightforward, with a stable job, and being someone who had gone through a national selection process, he was bound to be top–notch.
When Justin was off the clock, he was an entirely different
person.
At work, he was all business, polite and serious, but out of the office, in casual clothes, he had the easy–going charm of a sunny, approachable young man.
Without hesitation, he sat down next to Felix, smiling and making himself comfortable.
“Well, in that case, I’ll make myself at home.”
As soon as he sat down, Sunny took the opportunity to subtly nudge Amy, reminding her of the WhatsApp challenge.
Amy was reluctant, but she’d lost the game and had to keep her word. After downing a couple of drinks, she bravely stood up and sat next to Justin.
Justin, ever the easy–going guy, quickly bonded with everyone.
Chapter 44 Ambiguous Game
After a while of playing the hand–game, Gavin suggested another game.
8/8
“Let’s try something new,” he said, with a mischievous grin. “We’re going to play a game where you tear a piece of paper with your mouth.”
Even Abigail and Justin, who weren’t regulars at places like this, had heard of the game.
As the name implied, one person would hold a piece of paper between their lips and pass it to the next person, who then had to catch it and tear it in half with their mouth.
It was a flirty, suggestive game, and fit perfectly with the electric atmosphere of the bar.
Gavin and Sunny, with their usual tact, discreetly adjusted their seats before the game started.
They sat next to each other, Abigail and Felix beside them, and Amy and Justin together.
Abigail knew exactly what was happening: Gavin and Sunny
were pl
matchmaker, while she and Felix were left to their own devices. It wasn’t an issue–after all, they were both singles, and it was natural for them to be paired together for this game.
