Zara’s face darkened immediately.

It was simple. This whole thing had been her plan from the start.
She had never been so kind as to want to replace me at the wedding.
What she had always wanted was to completely take my place.
Having Damien and my family bring me here was just to watch. me fall apart.
At this moment, Damien, for reasons she couldn’t understand, seemed to have lost his mind. Her plan had failed.
The sounds of my friends‘ laughter rang out. “Damn, Damien actually called out that shameless woman’s hidden intentions.”
After laughing to her heart’s content, she turned to my group of friends and tore into the people on stage.
“Nelia’s burns are so severe, and you guys are still thinking about having that bitch take her place at the wedding?
“Did any of you visit her while she was in the hospital for at month? Do you even know how much pain she was in?
“A bunch of idiots, just buzzing around that woman like flies.

She shifted the camera again, turning her attention to Zara, who was hiding behind the crowd.
“And you. Do you think it’s funny to steal your cousin’s man? Let me tell you, anything you can take from her isn’t worth having!
“You can keep this crap for yourself!”
After a brief thought, they roughly ripped Zara’s veil off her head before storming off.
The video ended, and my friend told me that, though it was a bit late, they had finally made things right for me.
My eyes suddenly grew moist, and I trembled as I sent them each a thank–you message.
They just laughed.
[What are you thanking us for? We’re friends. We’ve been sick of those people for a while now.]
A warmth seemed to flood the place in my heart that had been blocked for so long.
Though I chose to leave, I wasn’t empty–handed.
