With her mental preparation complete, she stepped onto the stage.
Familiar lights and familiar cameras!
Her heart finally calmed down.
Standing on stage, she bowed to the director, Xavier, and Yves. “Hello, everyone, I’m Serena, a third–year acting student at the Film Academy.”
Lyle was taken aback. “You’re Serena?”

Lyle put down his pen and looked deeply at Serena. He was momentarily surprised upon seeing her appearance clearly, but then a look of realization flashed in his eyes.
No wonder Mr. Savill insisted I save a spot for Serena.
He didn’t like such behind–the–scenes dealings, so his gaze toward Serena became slightly critical and dismissive. His attitude also suddenly grew much colder.
“I know an actress named Serena, and her acting is exceptional. I hope you won’t disappoint.”
Serena lifted her head abruptly, gratitude flashing as she looked at Lyle.
She hadn’t expected that she had left such a good impression on Lyle in her past life. Nor had she anticipated that he would hold her in such high regard.
She bit her lip, her eyes slightly reddening.
The male lead, Xavier, lazily leaned back on the couch behind him. However, his brows slightly raised upon seeing Serena, and a look of interest appeared on his handsome features.
“Alright, let’s begin!”
As soon as Lyle finished speaking, the room fell so silent that the drop of a pin could be heard. Serena immediately straightened her back, slightly turning and positioning herself perfectly on stage. Lyle was surprised to notice that Serena had precisely found the camera’s best angle, although her positioning seemed casual. He flipped through her information, which claimed that Serena had no prior acting experience, yet her camera awareness was exceptional.
His attitude grew more serious.
Under the lens, Serena seemed like a completely different person.
Her eyebrows arched, and a captivating charm filled her expression. However, her gaze was bone–chilling.
She stood silently before the camera, but her entire presence suddenly became overwhelmingly powerful She truly embodied the beautiful yet deadly woman from the script at that moment.
She tilted her head slightly, looking down at an imaginary figure on the ground. Her voice was icy as she spoke, “What did you say?”
