“Then he probably wanted it to be a surprise,” he said.
Sienna furrowed her brows, a tangle of doubt in her mind. ‘Did siah really do this? For me? she thought.
It didn’t seem possible. When they were siblings, even when they were married, he’d never gone out of his way to do anything for her. Why would he now, when they had no relationship at all?
“Sienna,” Charles interrupted her thoughts, steering the conversation toward business. “With Enio out of the picture, I have an idea. I’d like to promote you to the second female lead. What do you think?”
Initially, he wouldn’t have dared to suggest it. But things were different now,
