Sienna finally smiled at the man. “Done. Thanks so much for your help”
The shop owner glanced nervously at Josiah and hesitated “Sienna, ul… who is he?”
“Still here?” Josiah’s voice was cold and sharp, like a blade slicing through the air.

“Take care,” Sienna said awkwardly, waving him off.

“What relationship? Sienna looked completely confused. “He’s just the owner of the rice shop. I bought rice from him, and he gave me a lollipop out of kindness. And you threw it away–should I be happy about that?”

Josiah carried two boxes with ease. “Put the rice bag on top. You can carry the fruit baskets.”
After barking the orders, he paused, realizing his tone might have been too harsh. He softened slightly. “Can you manage?”
“Yeah, I can, Sienna said, nodding as she followed his instructions.
But she glanced at him worriedly. “Isn’t that too heavy for you?” She couldn’t recall ever seeing Josiah do physical work before.
“Heavy” Josiah sneered dismissively. “This Not even close. Now move faster!”

He stood there, catching his breath clearly tired. Sienna felt a pang of embarrassment seeing his sweaty face and hesitated before asking. “Do you need a towel? Or maybe a drink of water?”
“Bring it.” Josiah replied, clearly satisfied with her suggestion.
“What?” she asked, confused.
“A towell” he shot her a sharp look, “What else? Or do you expect me to air–dry!”
“Oh! I’ll get it!” Sienna hurried into the bathroom, returning with a clean towel. She handed it to him, smiling nervously. “Here you go–it’s freshly washed and dried, perfectly clean”
Josiah frowned, glaring at her.

The towel carried a faint, fresh fragrance, the same scent radiating from her. Josiah found himself momentarily distracted. Being this close, he could see her delicate features. Her skin was flawless, pure, and soft–it seemed a gentle press might draw water.

“All done, Sienna said softly, stepping back and lowering the towel
Josiah blinked, snapping out of his thoughts. He felt a strange emptiness, as if something was missing.
Do you want some water?” Sienna asked, oblivious to his mood. She folded the towel and turned to pour him a drink. “I only have water here.”
“Mm, okay,” Josiah replied, his gaze lingering on her back. “Can I use your bathroom?“
“It’s to your left,” she answered
When Josiah returned from the bathroom, he had taken off his coat, casually tossing it onto the sofa. Sienna, noticing the lack of glasses on her table, looked apologetic.
“Sorry, I don’t have an extra cup,” she said. “Should I go downstairs and buy you a bottle of water?”
“No cup?” Josiah raised an eyebrow, pointing to a lemon–yellow mug on the table. “What about that?”
