In the private room, Sienna sat across from the man. The man was staring at her intently, as if he feared she might vanish if he so much as blinked.

The man looked conflicted, his expression a mix of guilt and hesitation. “Why can’t I ask? Sienna, I care about you. Did Mr. Flynn–did he treat you badly? Is that why you suddenly need so much money?”

The office continued, “We suspect you’re involved in illegal activities. Come with us to clear things up.”
