Furious as Josiah, Sienna whipped around and stormed toward him, grabbing his collar with both hands. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she was shaking with rage.
“What unforgivable crime have I committed for you to torment me like this?” she roared.
Joyce was about to undergo surgery. She had never once complained, but William had mentioned that every surgery came with risks.
No doctor could guarantee that Joyce would come off the operating table unscathed. Even if the risk was one in a million, Sienna couldn’t bear the thought of Joyce enduring it
That was why Sienna was determined to get that Minnie Mouse toy into Joyce’s hands before the surgery.

Losing control, Sienna started hitting and kicking him, Josiah didm retaliate. For one, he never laid a hand on women, especially not his woman, and for another, her outburst stunned him.
He never expected Sienna to cry. All this for a toy? Why is she crying like she’s lost someone? he wondered

“Sienna…” Seeing she wouldn’t calm down, Josiah had no choice but to take matters into his own hands. He kicked his arms around her waist and hoisted her off the ground.

“No” She was stubborn, but Josiah was even more so. If she wouldn’t listen to words, he’d have to act.
He carried her forward, determined. Sienna was livid. She lowered her head and bit into his neck with all her might, like a feral animal.

He hadn’t realized before just how fiery Sienna’s temper could be, like a wild little jackal, impossible to tame. He had no choice but to let her go and set her down
Without missing a beat, Sienna spun around and tried to run.
“Come back here.” Josiah had been expecting this and grabbed her wrist, pulling her back so abruptly she stumbled. “If you leave now, that limited edition Minnie Mouse you want so badly? Forget about it.”
Josiah released her wrist after speaking and waved dismissively. “Go ahead. Run”
Sienna froze, her mind spinning. What does he mean by that? she thought.
Josiah didn’t explain. Instead, he smiled, his mood visibly improving. She’s not clawing at me or biting anymore! Honestly, that bite really hurt he wondered
He reached up to touch the spot where she’ll bitten him, feeling the tender skin and noticing a smear of blood on his fingers. She’d actually broken the skin.

“Wait here,” Josiah said abruptly, brushing off her question. “If you want that limited–edition Minnie Mouse, stay quiet and don’t cause trouble. Don’t worry. You won’t have to camp out overnight for it.”

With that. Josiah pulled out his phone and made a call. Within two seconds, someone picked up.
“It’s me.” On the other end was Zach.
“Who’s the duty manager at TeeMall tonight? Call him and tell him to come down immediately and open the store for me” Josiah instructed, his
voice calm and deliberate, as though he were ordering takeout.
“Oh, and III send you a picture he added, glancing at Sienna. “Ms. Minnie Mouse over there, do you have a photo of it!”
Sienna blinked, momentarily stunned, then quickly nodded. “Yes, I do”
She scrambled to pull up the image on her phone and held it up for him to see Josiah squinted at the screen. “Alright, send it to me.”
Sienna hesitated, her mind racing. I think I know what he’s planning.. but should I she thought.
“What are you waiting for?” Josiah’s expression darkened as he barked impatiently, “Send it. Now!”
“Okay, fine” Sienna thought to herself. If I miss this chaner, I won’t have another shot at giving Joyce her gift. Besides, it was Josiah who messed up my plans in the first place. Even if he’s helping now, it just evens the score.
Gritting her teeth, Sienna opened WhatsApp and sent him the picture.
Josiah forwarded it to Zach immediately. “This is the one. Get the store to open up. I’m taking one.”
“Understood. Mr. Flynn, Zach replied before hanging up.
In less than ten minutes, there was a noise behind the side door’s rolling shutter. Slowly, it began to rise, light spilling out from underneath.
As the door opened two–thirds of the way, a man stepped out. “Hi, Mr. Flynn.” The man appeared to be in his early thirties, wearing a TecMall uniform. His name tag read George, likely the duty manager Josiah had mentioned
George greeted them with a wide smile. “Mr. Flynn, you’re here. Please, come in
“Okay” Josiah gave a slight nod and strode inside with his long legs.
“Keep up,” he said, directing the remark at Sienna George quickly turned his attention to her. “Good evening, ma’am. Please, come in.”
“She’s with Mr. Flynn George thought, his expression turning more polite. They must be close. This last minute request for a toy. it’s got to be for her. Not daring to delay, he ushered her in.
Sienna hesitated briefly but followed.
Inside, the specialty store was already open, the lights fully on George was busy coordinating with the staff, who were retrieving the item “Mr. Flynn, just a moment. It’ll be ready shortly.”
“Okay” Josiah gave another small nod, his expression calm as ever.
Sienna, however, was caught up in her thoughts. The Flynn family is loaded. That much is obvious TeeMall must have ties to their business empire. Otherwise, no matter how domineering Josiah might be, he couldn’t hoss a manager around like this, she wondered.
Wealth and power were keys.
Before long. George, having called the store staff while heading in, managed to speed things up. A staff member arrived, pushing a cart.
“Hi, Mr. Flynn, George, the staff member said politely.
“Quickly now, open it,” George instructed with a wave of his hand.
“Yes, sir.” The staff member swiftly got to work, peeling off the outer packaging to reveal another box, a clear display case.
Inside was a Minnie Mouse doll, dressed in a red dress with matching red shoes and a big red how, standing just over 20 inches tall.
Josiah turned to Sienna, raising an eyebrow. “Is this the one?”
“Yes” Sienna’s eyes lit up as she nodded enthusiastically. “That’s it! This was the Minnie Mouse Joyce had been dreaming about
“Alright.” Seeing how happy she looked, Josiah’s lips curved into a barely noticeable smile. He turned to George. This one. Wrap it up”
“Right away, Mr. Flynn, George responded, signaling the staff to package it.
