What’s that scent on her? How can it smell so good? Josiah wondered.
“Sienna,” he began, trying to suppress the peculiar pull he felt. “What perfume are you wearing?”

“The shut–off valve is downstairs. I’ll also need to buy a new faucet,“ Sienna explained, already heading out.
“Stop right there,” Josiah grabbed her arm, his expression unreadable, “What do you think you’re doing? Am I just here for decoration?”
Does she not see me standing here? Why would I let her run around fixing this mess when I’m right herer he thought, exasperated.

“Stay put
