Jerry was stunned. After he came back to his senses, he immediately started rushing toward
Sophia screamed, “Who the hell are you? Why are you pretending to be Mrs. Brewer?”
The crowd erupted into confusion, and gasps and murmurs filled the room.
Jerry rushed up to me, trying to snatch the microphone away. “Stop this!
You’ve got to listen to my explanation…”
I stood there, raising an eyebrow. “Oh? Then go ahead and explain.”
But Jerry said nothing.
It seemed like he had no idea how to explain any of this.
The truth was clear to everyone. I had been played. I was the other woman in their felationship.
He was nothing but a sc*mbag.
Jerry gritted his teeth. “Let’s talk after the engagement party ends. This is really important to
me…”
I laughed. “Then you can start by returning my stuff. That’s important to me, too.”
I began listing off. “The designer suit you’re wearing? I bought it. Take it off.”
The crowd gasped.
Some people stood up excitedly, craning their necks to see what happened.
Others, unable to see, climbed onto chairs to get a better look.
“And you…”
I pointed at Sophia. “You should give back the dress, the shoes, the earrings, the bracelet…”
With each item I mentioned, Sophia’s face paled further.
These were all gifts from Jerry. He stole them for you. Please return them.”
Sophia let out a scream. “Jerry, didn’t you say you saved up to buy all this for me?! What is going on?!”
The crowd buzzed with chatter.
“Is she the rich woman Jerry has been seeing on the side?”
“D*mn, I’ve seen Maseratis picking Jerry up from school several times. I thought it was his
family’s car. I had no idea…”
“So they’ve been scamming this woman for her money, and now she’s showing up to
confront them? They are shameless!”
Jerry’s face was red with humiliation.
He rushed over and grabbed my arm, trying to pull me offstage.
Before he could get close, I slapped him hard across the face.
He was stunned.
“You steal my stuff, and I can call the cops,” I said.
“Now take it off.”

Finally, after taking a deep breath, he spoke through gritted teeth, “Valerie, think carefully.
Do you really want to break up with me?
You’re over thirty. Who else would want you?”
Looking at his repulsive face, I couldn’t help but laugh.
I thought back to the person I used to be. I wondered how I had been deceived for so many
years.
I replied coldly. “Take it off. Or do you really want to go to the police?”
Jerry shot me a venomous glare, then turned away, first pulling off Sophia’s earrings and
bracelet.
Next, he unbuttoned his jacket.
I said, “Don’t forget the pants.”
Jerry took a deep breath. “Valerie, we…”
“Are you about to break up with me?” I interrupted him, smirking coldly. “Sorry, I’m the one dumping you first. Jerry, we’re done!” I said flatly.
Jerry looked at me in disbelief, his eyes on the brink of tears. “Valerie, I know you’re angry, but can’t you calm down and let me explain…”
I cut him off. “No more talking. You need to take it off!”
Jerry’s hands were shaking as he fumbled with his belt.
With a loud “whoosh,” his pants hit the floor.
The entire banquet hall went wild. People pulled out their phones and started filming. Jerry went mad, shouting, “Who the hell is filming?!”
I just smiled.
“Oh, and those underwear too? I bought those as well. They’re designer. Take them off!” Jerry’s face turned the color of ashen.
