Antonio’s face darkened. For the first time, he actively pulled me into his arms.

“So, you decided to let it affect me?” I looked at him in disbelief.
“No, Grace. Everything will be fine after some time. It won’t take long. I’ll make a statement when the publicity of Isabel’s new movie is over.”
His promise didn’t cheer me up at all.
I looked down and asked in a choking voice, “Antonio, do you know how I’ve lived these days?”
A fit of warmth wrapped me. Antonio pulled me into his arms again.
“I know, Grace. I’m sorry. I’ll make it up to you, OK? Just endure it. It’ll be all over soon.”
For the first time, Antonio held me twice. But only because of another woman.
I shook my head and sobbed, “Antonio, why are you so cruel to me?”
Antonio only held me and said nothing.
I closed my eyes. Tears came out of my eyes uncontrollably.
