[Story Three: Part Two: The Classmate’s
Toffee Flirting With Boys, She’s a Slut]
–
That day, on the way to class, I was stopped
by a middle–aged woman.
The first thing she did was scold me in a loud
voice.
“Are you the one seducing my son?!”
I was stunned. “Ma’am, what are you talking
about?”
く
“Don’t play innocent! No wonder my son has
been acting strange. I’m asking you, did you
draw this for him?!”
She took out the portrait I drew for
[Classmate’s Name].
“Ha, you’re speechless, so it is you!
“Go! Let’s go find your teacher! You can’t
even study, and you’re holding back my son,
aren’t you a slut?!
“Luckily, your mother told me, or I wouldn’t
have known my son was being targeted by a
fox spirit at school!”
She shouted loudly, and the students passing
by could hear her.
I could even hear them gossiping.
“[Your Name] is seducing [Classmate’s
Name]? I never thought she would do
something like this, she looks so well-
behaved.”
“Psh, girls like her just know how to act. She

looks pure, but she’s just pretending, she
knows how to attract boys.”
“No wonder, she doesn’t like talking to
people, she judges people before talking to
them.”
That day, I was severely criticized by the
principal.
At the flag–raising ceremony in the second
week, I was called up to apologize to the
entire school.
Mom gave me the speech.
I held the thin apology letter tightly, gritting
my teeth as I read the words.
“I shouldn’t have interrupted the male
student’s studies, it was a shameless act…‘
“Thank… the school and my parents for
guiding me, so that I didn’t become a real…
slut…”
“I apologize to… [Classmate’s Name] and

The students sneered.
Everyone’s eyes were on me, jeering and
mocking.
I looked up, and Mom was standing in the
back, arms crossed, smirking at me.
On the way home that day, she asked me.
“Do you know what you did wrong now?”
I nodded.
“I know.”
She finally smiled happily, and put her arm
around my shoulders.
“You need to know that you’re my daughter
and you need to listen to Mom’s
arrangements, otherwise, you’ll only hurt
yourself.”
I nodded again.
After that, [Classmate’s Name] never came to
school again.
I heard his mother transferred him to another
school after finding out about my situation.

school after finding out about my situation.
I lost another friend.
After saying the last sentence, I took a deep
breath.
Dr. Lewis asked me.
“Do you hate your classmate?”
I was startled.
“Do you hate that he couldn’t help you clear
things up?”
I shook my head. “No one can get past my
parents to save me.”
Dr. Lewis sighed again and gently touched my
head.
I smiled at him and took out the last few
certificates from the box.
