Hiding My Twin Pups From their Alpha Dad Ch 3

Chapter 3

Felicia took a deep breath, she stepped out of her room with her luggages. Damien was still in the living room, sitting casually on the couch like nothing had happened.

“Where do you think you’re going?” His deep voice echoed, stopping her mid-step.

She turned but didn’t reply.

“I asked you a question, Felicia.” His tone grew sharper. “Do you have any idea what leaving this pack means? Where are you even planning to go?”

Her lips tightened as she clutched the handle of her suitcase. She refused to answer.

He stood, his eyes locking with hers. “Fine. Be stubborn. But if my parents ever ask why we divorced, tell them the truth. Tell them you wanted this, not me. Make sure they know it was all your idea.”

Felicia swallowed hard, her gaze drifting to the brown envelope she had dropped earlier when she stormed in and found Damien with that woman.

It still lay on the floor, a cruel reminder of everything she had just lost. She bent down, picked it up, and straightened without looking at him.

Without another word, she turned on her heel and walked out.

The cool night air hit her face as she dragged her suitcase toward the gate. Her legs felt heavy, each step harder than the last. When she was almost there, she froze.

The woman from earlier was standing by the gate, leaning casually against the post with a smug, victorious smirk plastered across her face.

“Leaving already?” the woman drawled, her voice dripping with mockery.

Felicia’s grip on her suitcase tightened, but she said nothing.

The woman sauntered closer, placing a hand on her stomach as her smirk deepened. “Guess what?” she whispered, leaning close to Felicia’s ear. “I’m pregnant. For him.”

Felicia’s jaw dropped, her mind spinning. Pregnant?

Her heart clenched painfully as the woman’s words sank in. So that’s why he didn’t want a child with me.

How long had he been cheating on her? How many lies had she swallowed without even knowing it?

The woman chuckled softly, clearly relishing the shock on Felicia’s face. “Looks like you were never more than a placeholder, darling.”

Felicia snapped her mouth shut, refusing to give the woman the satisfaction of a response.

She turned away, her vision blurry with unshed tears, and continued toward the gate.

The world around her seemed to tilt, her steps faltering. Her chest felt tight, her head spinning.

“No,” she whispered to herself, trying to steady her breathing. “Not now. Don’t you dare break down now?”

But her body didn’t listen. The dizziness grew stronger, and before she could take another step, everything went black.

The last thing she heard was the woman’s mocking laughter.
