“Travis is such a good boy. You’re impolite. You only pushed her away to protect Nora. You’re a brave, good boy, Shiloh said.
Her words comforted Travis, and with the warm towel on his face, he finally stopped crying.
Once she had calmed down Travis, Shiloh turned her attention to Nora.
The little one was still young and forgetful.
After some coaxing, she quickly stopped crying, her face lighting up with a smile as she pulled Travis to play with the new toys.
Marty peeked his head inside the door, cautiously checking if the children were no longer crying. When he saw that they were calm, he breathed a sigh of relief.
Seeing him. Travis waved him in to join them.
Marty hesitated, unsure, stealing a glance at Shiloh. When he saw that she was deliberately avoiding him. he felt a pang of sadness and being abandoned.
Mae had originally planned to stay and help with the children, but given the circumstances, it didn’t seem appropriate. In the end, she decided to give Shiloh and Adrian some space and went back to her own.
room.
In the living room, Shiloh sat at one end of the sofa, her gaze naturally falling on the three children.
Adrian sat across from her, his thin lips pressed together. His all–black outfit only made his cold, aristocratic air more pronounced.
Shiloh took the initiative to break the silence. Looking at him with a calm gaze, she asked, “Adrian, I suppose you and Jessie are getting close to something serious, right?”
Adrian’s dark eyes narrowed, a cold laugh escaping his lips. “I’m not like you. I don’t treat emotions the way you do.”
She took a deep breath, reminding herself not to let this foolish man provoke her
The most important thing right now was to settle the custody issue.
Shiloh raised her eyes to meet his, and for a moment, she was caught by his eyes, feeling that there was something in them that she couldn’t quite understand, some emotion crashing against hers.
Before she could examine it further, Adrian had already turned his gaze away.
She spoke distantly, just as she had when they first met. “Mr. Frost, I know you were forced to marry me, which is why you’ve hated seeing me all these years.
“As long as you give me the custody of the two children. I’ll take them abroad and stay far away from you. no contact for the rest of our lives.
“If you like children, you can always have more with Jessie.”
Shiloh had thought this through. If Adrian and Jessie ended up getting married and having children, even if Adrian wasn’t biased towards his own kids, Jessie could still be a problem.

Adrian’s expression darkened, his teeth gritting as he coldly retorted, “Do you really think I’ll agree to let you raise my son with your current husband?”
Shiloh was stunned by his reasoning.
What does this have to do with the custody of the children?
Before she could respond, Adrian’s voice cut through again, colder than before, as though she had committed an unforgivable offense.
“Shiloh, do you want my son to call someone else Dad?”
Before she could answer, he made a final judgment. “Don’t even think about it.”
Shiloh blinked in disbelief. “What? I never intended for them to call someone else Dad. We’re already divorced, but you’re still their father. That won’t change.”

Adrian, cautiously, asked, “What if I told you that you can have custody of the children, but only if you. divorce your current husband? Would you be able to do that?”
The bright sunlight filtered in through the window, casting a glow on Shiloh’s flawless skin. Her serene eyes suddenly sparked with life. “Are you serious?”
She stood up from the sofa, taking a few steps forward, her eyes locked on his as she urgently asked, “If I divorce, you’ll give me custody of both children?”
Adrian leaned back, his voice measured. “I only said if
Shiloh answered quickly. “No need for hypotheticals. I can consider it.”
This was the first time since their reunion that she had truly observed him, not wanting to miss any hint of emotion that crossed his face.
She needed to determine whether his words were serious..
Is he deliberately teasing me, or is he really willing to let go?
At this moment, she could already envision a future with the children–a happy life together.
Travis had already opened up to her.
As for Marty, she would try to teach him.
She would give them the best education, a beautiful childhood, and limitless potential.
It would definitely be no worse than what Adrian could give them.
The joy in Shiloh’s eyes was obvious, radiant and captivating, holding Adrian’s gaze firmly.
His eyes were complicated.
“I only said it offhand. Don’t overthink it. I haven’t agreed to give you custody,” he said coldly.
Seeing Shiloh’s smile fade instantly, Adrian felt an unspoken sense of satisfaction deep within himself.

Shiloh thought of Travis’s tears and replied softly, “But just now, for Jessie’s sake, you let Travis suffer.”
