Adrian stared at her in confusion, saying. “Stop always dragging Jessie into everything between us. Whether it’s Jessie or someone else. Travis is wrong to push someone without reason. His age doesn’t excuse his actions. They are my sons, and when they make mistakes, I’ll teach them myself.”
Shiloh took a step back, but her leg accidentally brushed against the corner of the coffee table and she staggered backward. Adrian instinctively reached out to catch her.
She quickly avoided his hand and steadied herself.
Shiloh replied frankly, Jessie tried to hurt Nora. Travis pushed her away to protect Nora.”
Adrian hadn’t expected that. “I thought Jessie would never harm a one–year–old.”
Shiloh frowned.
After five years of marriage, he didn’t trust her, but he trusted Jessie.
After a moment. Shiloh said seriously. “Then let’s take this to court.”
Every attempt to talk had ended in frustration; they could never reach an agreement.
She was determined to fight for custody of the two children, no matter the cost.
She carried Travis and Marty for ten months. She endured relentless morning sickness and countless nights of leg cramps and even risked her life to bring them into the world.
In the past, she may have taken her anger out on the children, but now, she was confident she could raise – them well. She didn’t want to give them up.
Even if she couldn’t win, she didn’t want the children to think they were abandoned without reason.
She loved them, more than anyone else.
Adrian stood up suddenly, looking displeased. He muttered, “Fine, do whatever you want.”
He walked to the bedroom and picked up Travis and Marty, one in each arm. Just as he was about to leave. he felt someone clutching his leg.
Adrian looked down and saw Nora’s tear–filled eyes.
Nora was holding onto his leg tightly, with teardrops falling one by one, soaking into his pants.
“Don’t bully Travis.”
Nora stretched out one hand and grabbed Travis’s, saying. “Travis is good.”
Adrian felt a wave of inexplicable emotion rise within him upon seeing the little girl’s tears.
Nora was Shiloh’s biological daughter, and there was no doubt about it.
He lowered the two children to the ground, crouched down, and gently wiped her tears with his finger. “Don’t cry. I won’t bully Travis.”
Nora pulled a candy out of her small bag, the one she had wanted to give him during the video call earlier.

Adrian had never been fond of sweets, but for some strange reason, he opened his mouth and took the pineapple–flavored candy. The sweetness spread through him, leaving him a little disoriented.
Seeing him eat the candy, Nora’s face broke into a bright smile.
She pulled Travis in front of Adrian and eagerly looked at

Adrian seemed to understand the little one’s meaning and sighed. He said to Travis, “I’m sorry. I didn’t speak to you properly earlier. It wasn’t right to speak to you like that. There was a reason for it. I’m sorry, Travis.
Travis, somewhat stunned, said, “Uh… it’s alright.”
Adrian gently ruffled Travis’s hair. “From now on, I’ll speak nicely to you. Will you forgive me, Travis?”
Travis nodded, his previous gloom fading away. He would have gladly given all his toys to Nora.
She had managed to mend the conflict between him and his dad, and even made him eat sweets.
Nora was the best girl in the world..
Adrian lifted her up into his arms. She looked so chubby and cute, but felt light, soft, and fragrant. He never wanted to let her go.
He handed her over to Shiloh, who had just entered the room, and said, “You have a wonderful daughter.”
Shiloh replied. “I don’t need you to remind me. I know. Of course, my daughter is wonderful.”
Meanwhile, in the room next door, Shiloh, after Adrian had taken the two boys to rest, dialed Monkey’s number and asked him to find a lawyer for her to fight for custody.
She would fight for the children’s custody. As for Marty, though, Shiloh wasn’t without some resentment.

Jessie, who was staying in the room next to Adrian’s, couldn’t wait to ask about the results, but was turned away with the excuse that “the kids are napping
When the three children woke up from their nap, Mae came to take them downstairs to play. As she stepped outside, she ran into Adrian.
Travis and Marty had changed into fresh clothes.
Nora, now full of energy after waking up, immediately rushed over to Travis.
With so much enthusiasm, she knocked him back a little.
Adrian used his leg to block Travis’s retreating motion, preventing the two little ones from falling over.
