Shiloh thought, Is Adrian angry? Or is he just looking for an excuse to argue with me?
Shiloh sighed, feeling unlucky, and said, “If you’re so bored, go do something else.”
Adrian’s face immediately darkened.
Before his anger could fully rise, he suddenly felt a small touch on his face. Two tiny index fingers pressed gently on both sides of his mouth and pushed upward.
Nora thought. He is so scary when he doesn’t smile.
Seeing that Adrian didn’t respond, Nora hesitated for a moment and said, “Smile.”
Adrian awkwardly tugged at the corner of his mouth.
Mae, witnessing the scene, gasped in shock and then flashed a knowing smile.
Shiloh was also taken aback by Adrian’s cooperation.
In the next second, Nora, gleaming with happiness, not only gave him a bright smile but also planted a kiss on his cheek.
Mom said that well–behaved babies get an encouraging kiss. The bad man is very obedient.
She slipped out of Adrian’s arms, secretly hooked his pinky, and tugged him toward the tent.
Travis and Marty exchanged a look and quickly followed.
Although Nora was young, she had noticed that all the other kids were having their dads set up the tents while their moms rested, so she eagerly looked at Adrian, waiting for him to take action.
The resort provided large tents.
Shiloh and Mae were quick with their movements, but they didn’t have as much strength as the men.
Just as Shiloh was about to refuse, she saw Adrian squat down.
The three adorable children stood nearby, watching with admiration, while Adrian started setting up the
tent.
By the time he realized what he had done, the tent was already set up.
Seeing the finished tent, Nora excitedly waved at Adrian.
Adrian squatted down to listen to her.
Nora wasn’t shy with her smile, her innocent face beaming with joy as she loudly thanked him, “Thank you‘
Mae gave Shiloh a thumbs–up and said, “Nora really has a knack for charming people.”
Shiloh’s lips twitched.
Once the tent was set up, the three children began moving their toys inside, like little hamsters.

Travis and Marty handed toys from the outside, while Nora, wearing cute socks, placed toys inside the
tent.
After everything was in place, the three of them were all rosy–cheeked with warmth.
Shiloh quickly grabbed water for them.
Jessic, holding a kite, looked upset and wronged. She raised her hand toward Marty and said, “Marty, don’t you want to fly a kite? I already brought the kite down.”
Travis had already taken off his shoes and was inside the tent with Nora. He looked back at Marty.
Marty, having just taken off one shoe, paused and glanced at the kite in Jessie’s hand, clearly tempted.
Seeing this, Jessie immediately walked over, took his hand, and glanced at Travis in the tent, coaxing, “Travis, Marty, what’s so fun about the tent? Come out and fly a kite with me.”
Nora obediently sat in the tent, blinking and playing with her toys by herself.
If someone played with her, she was happy.
If no one did, she’d play alone.
This was one of Nora’s most endearing traits, just like her mom.
Suddenly, Nora had a small doll in her palm. She looked up and met Travis’s smiling eyes.
He gently ruffled her little hair and said to Jessie, “Thanks, Jessic, but I’d rather play in the tent.”
The tent was set up next to the camping canopy.
Shiloh was slicing fruit for the three kids when she heard Jessie’s words. She glanced at Travis and Marty
Seeing the spark of interest in Marty’s eyes, she immediately understood.
Although she was Marty’s biological mother, the boy had always been closer to Jessie.
There was no point in forcing him to feel otherwise. She directly said to Marty, “If you want to go, got ahead.”
Travis also turned back to look at Marty and nodded at him.
Marty glanced at Shiloh. Seeing that she didn’t care about him at all, he felt a pang of unhappiness.
Hmph. Fine, I’ll go. She dislikes me anyway.
He stood up and left the tent.
Nora continued playing with the building blocks in her hands, her little pigtails swaying back and forth. looking as cute as ever.
Jessie, as she’d hoped, took Marty’s hand, but because she was wearing high heels, she stumbled, sinking into the grass with every step.
Forget about running to fly the kite, just walking two steps was a struggle.

Jessie bit her lip and pouted, looking up at Adrian for help, “Adrian, I can’t run anymore. Can you help.
me?”
Adrian, noticing the dejection in Marty’s eyes, stepped forward and took the kite string from her.
In no time, the kite soared into the sky.
Shiloh and Mac had also taken off their shoes and entered the tent, joining the kids for a game of building blocks.
