I noticed that Stefan appeared slightly weary as if he had returned from a lengthy business trip.

I was stunned and responded, “I don’t have any cases of failed surgeries. Stop looking down on me… Y–You did it on purpose. right? Lukas told you that I came to Huntington, right? You even sent me the rental advertisement-
However, he showed no signs of shame or guilt despite his exposure. Then, he snorted and said frankly, “I’m afraid you’ll run away. You still owe me money, Money aside, you still owe me other things. If I don’t allow it, you’ll never escape me. No matter where you go, it’ll be the same. That’s why I asked you to return to Grimsdale with me. Why go to all this trouble?”
I was at a loss for words; it turned out that the reason he asked me to go back to Crimsdale was that I owed him something. There was nothing else….
