Chapter 53 Pursue You Again
Ariana Sutton’s POV
1 saw that Figaro had already seen us, so I couldn’t leave.
After I sat down. I was so awkward that I wanted to run away. I wasn’t even this uncomfortable when I went to Capeham Residence to teach….
However, he probably noticed my awkwardness and said calmly, “You can treat it as if I am here for a trip and I’m here to have a meal and a chat with friends. You don’t have to be so awkward. It’s not like this is our first encounter. It’s been many years since we knew each other, right?”
Then. I looked up at him and met his bright eyes.
His wholesomeness and cleanliness reflected the ‘dirt‘ all over me.
He probably knew about the relationship between Stefan and me, so how could he and I be together?
As we already knew each other and had a general understanding, there were not many topics to discuss during the meal. Consequently, Figaro and I were less talkative, and we only relied on Yoana to liven up the atmosphere.
After we finished eating, we came out of the restaurant. She asked me for the keys to the house, and then she escaped from the scene
I raised my hand to smooth my hair which was blown by the night wind, then I asked in a low voice, “Are you going back to the hotel:”
He smiled. It’s still early; let’s go for a walk together?”
I nodded, so the two of us walked aimlessly along the road. Without the chatterbox Yoana, it took some time before we started talking
Then, he began the conversation. “You look good with your short hair. Still, it’s a pity to cut such good hair.”
I pursed my lips. “Thank you for the compliment… I didn’t expect Yoyo to find you

Figaro turned his head and looked at me. “Didn’t you expect that? I’m glad she found me instead of someone else.”
Of course, I understood the underlying meaning of what he said. It was not like me to be coy, so I simply pointed out, Tve never been in a serious relationship, but you should know that I was with Stefan… So, don’t you mind?”
Figaro shook his head. “If I did, I wouldn’t come to see you. I have been waiting for this opportunity for many years. I believe that you left the Jablonsky Residence to give yourself a chance. Why don’t we try it out? If you still can’t forget him, we’ll break up amicably. If you can, that would be the best.”
He had already made things so clear, so if I continued to hesitate, it would seem a little bad on my part. However, it was exactly his attitude and tolerance of me that made me unable to be with him without feeling guilty.
I didn’t say anything for a long time.
Figaro was considerate and knew I was probably hesitating, so he comforted me and said, “I’m not asking you to give me the amwer immediately. You can tell me when you’re done thinking about it. I can give you enough time, and I will try to make you fall in love with me. How do you know if it’ll work if you don’t try?”
Flooked at lum seriously for the first time. The person in front of him still seemed to be the boy from my university days. I smiled and asked. “What if I refuser”

In the end, I didn’t give an answer. Instead, I said goodbye to him and went home.
