While en route, Lily gritted her teeth. “I think you should be alright in a little while, Robert. The drug’s effects should have dissipated by at least half.”
Robert regained some of his composure, so he shorted. As he was right beside Lily’s ear, could hear his hoarse voice as he asked, “Why? Don’t you love this?”

Given the normal circumstances, he would not have said those words, so she could only attribute to the wonderful effects of the aphrodisiac.
Lily closed her eyes and let herself go. “Oh, of course, I love it. I’ve always loved it like this.”
Robert paused.
She knew that her sultry voice was stroking his desires. Well, what can he be angry about? He has no right to be.
A moment later, Lily heard someone twisting the doorknob, saying, “Lily, why did you lock the door? Come out now! I can’t find your ex–husband.”
Lily pursed her lips and patted Robert’s shoulder. He then cooperated with her and stopped- his actions. She tried to catch her breath before replying, “He’s here with me.”
Although she tried to sound like her usual self, Samson, outside the door, remained reticent for ages.
Closing her eyes, she wondered whether she should explain herself.
“Oh, if that’s the case, do continue,” came Samson’s awkward voice.
It even left Lily covering her face.
As Robert waited, it felt like Samson had finally left. Panting, Lily asked, “Mr. Taylor, don’t you feel embarrassed?”
Robert smiled and gave Lily a kiss. “No, I don’t”
He’s shameless! she thought as she didn’t know how to respond to his words. It should be lively outside. Since this room did not come with soundproof I could hear people walking about and laughing outside.

Instead of answering Lily, Robert asked, “Then, why are you here?”

He was trying to find a place where he could ride out the effects of the aphrodisiac alone, or at least until Samson found him. However, after entering this room, Robert saw Lily.
Why am I here? Lily was just as muddled, so she paused for a second. It took her a long while to answer his question. “Maybe it’s because I dont like that woman.”
The woman beside Robert did not have Lily’s looks or beauty, and she wouldn’t be surprised if the woman were poorer, too. How dare she look down on me and scoff with disdain after that!
Lily had always known that Robert would marry someone else. Now that they were divorced, there would definitely be a woman next to him. She hated this, though. She disliked the type of woman standing next to him.
Even though Robert wasn’t her man, that woman whom she saw should not be his next partner. That was the reason why Lily came today–to instigate the woman and Robert and cause trouble for the woman.
Robert did not ask what she meant and merely grunted.
As Lily stared at the ceiling, she thought, Oh my, why am I being childish? She slowly closed her eyes and asked again, “Were you drugged that night, too?”
He did not hide the truth. “Yes.”
F*ck. Lily wanted to curse. Why is he always drugged whenever he’s sleeping with me? Lily was the type to never admit that she was at a loss.
“Thank me then. If not because of me, you would have been sleeping with a random woman,” she said after a cold snort.
