Robert entered the pool and slowly started doing laps around it.

From where Lily was sitting, she could see a shadow of him in the swimming pool.
After a while, she withdrew her gaze. She didn’t know how to swim. The only reason she came here was t relieve herself of boredom.
Now that Robert was here, Lily inexplicably felt even more bored than before.
It felt like no matter how hard she tried to seduce someone like him, it just wouldn’t work.

Just then, Samson came over. He had been watching Lily and Robert from elsewhere. As he sat in Robert’s vacant seat, Samson frowned. “What were you talking about? Why did he abandon you after only saying a few words?”
Lily leaned against the chair, adjusted her swimsuit, and tried her best to cover herself up. “Nothing much. Since he was already here, he decided to go for a swim.”
Samson tutted several times. “Seriously, I can’t believe that man.”
She laughed as she recalled what had happened just now. “Your boss mentioned that we’d be here for another two days. And he asked me if there was anywhere I wanted to go. I’ve never been here before. Do you know where to go sightseeing here?”

He studied her for a moment, then suddenly smiled. “I do. Didn’t Unfortunately, it wasn’t very fun. This time around, it’ll be different! You can bring your ex–husband with you to the Edge of the World! That place is only meaningful when a couple goes there.”
Lily looked him in the eye and didn’t say anything for the time being.
Thus, Samson became excited. “I’ll help the two of you take some photos at the Edge of the World. I heard that if a couple takes photos together there, your relationship will last for a long time.”
Finally, she couldn’t resist asking. “To be honest, I’ve been meaning to ask you. Why are you so persistent when it comes to Robert and me? To me, it’s almost like you’re a pimp!”
He looked hurt. “How could you put it that way? I just hope that the two of you will end up together! Mainly, it’s because I think you both suit each other. Another reason is that I get along with you!”
Then, Lily understood. “If somebody else appears next to Robert, are you afraid you won’t be able to get along with her?”
“It’s not like I’m afraid I won’t be able to get along with her.” Samson scratched his head. “I just feel like, compared to somebody else, I’d prefer it if you were the boss‘ wife. It’s that simple. Besides, I do believe he cares about you.”
