When he looked at her, he remembered all the
humiliation and felt angry.
Tiffany frowned, forcing herself not to yell. She pulled out her necklace: “Stop lying. The necklace glows when it’s close to you!”
“And this week, I have been watching you.” “You like to visit that bar, you like to blow off steam at the gym. You like bland food, you’re allergic to peanuts, and you are left–handed.”
“Don’t say that it is just a coincidence!”

I looked at her, my face blank, “So what if
you’re right about all that?”
When I admitted it, Tiffany gritted her teeth,
“You have the nerve to ask me so what? You’re
my man, so how can you be engaged to
Summer? How far did you two go, you…”
“Enough, Tiffany! I’m my own person, and I
don’t belong to anyone! I can do whatever I
want, and you can’t tell me what to do!”
I cut her off, fed up with her. Then I turned to
leave.
When Tiffany reached out to grab me, I yelled
at my bodyguards.
Thump!
The bodyguards grabbed Tiffany and pinned her
to the ground.
Tiffany had never felt so helpless, and her face.
turned red.
“Jake… Aaron, are you crazy? You dare to do
this to me? Don’t you know that I could reject
you again?”
I waved off the bodyguards and went to her.
I looked down, cold, and said: “Too bad that I

work on me now.”
Tiffany scoffed: “I don’t believe it! If you could change targets, you would have done it already. You’re just with Summer because you want to
make me jealous, right? Be careful not to overdo it!”
“You can believe what you want, but don’t come looking for me. Otherwise, don’t blame me for being rude!”
She was so self–centered, that I didn’t want to
say anything. I just got in the car and left.
The car left, spraying Tiffany in the face with
exhaust fumes.
In the past four years, Tiffany had never seen
me act this way and she felt uneasy.
Was it really like I said, that I had changed
targets?
Tiffany had the thought, but then she pushed it
away.
“Just like what I said, if Aaron could change
targets, he would have already.”
“He says that to scare me! He’s just using
Summer to make me jealous, like I did with
Matt.”
“He’ll be begging to get back with me before
the six months is up!”
Using jealousy was a very old game.
But, I had to admit, that when Aaron was with
Summer, it made her feel bad.
Tiffany dusted herself off.
She would not test Aaron’s love anymore. She
was going to be his girlfriend.
She was not young and it was time to get
married and have kids.
When I got home, Tiffany was right behind me. “Aaron, break up with Summer. I can be your
girlfriend now. Or we can even get married…

I started laughing: “Summer respects me, she is
sweet to me, and she treats me so well. I’m not
stupid, why would I leave her for you?”
“Don’t forget, I am your challenge target. If your
rating is too low, you’ll be in pain when you

I didn’t say anything, I just went in, calling
security.
“Bring over some guards, and take Tiffany
away. Don’t let animals inside my home again. I
don’t want to see her!”
Tiffany was taken away. She sent me many
texts.
All of them basically said the same thing, that I
was trying to make her jealous.
I looked and replied.

months? Just wait, it will never happen!]
I blocked her, and felt so thankful, that I had.
