Chapter 103 Tricked
Jennifer looked at the ruined fabric in her hands. She realized
she had been tricked.
She found Kelly and said coldly, “This fabric can’t be ironed. Why did you give it to me?”
Kelly retorted, “Jennifer, what do you mean? It’s your job to organize the fabrics. You ruined it yourself, and now you’re blaming me?”
Kelly’s voice got louder. “You can’t blame others for your own mistakes. Everyone starts by organizing fabrics. You ruined it yourself, and it’s not my fault!”
Jennifer knew she had fallen into a trap.
Kelly had mixed the special fabric with the ordinary ones on
purpose.
Jennifer was led to think all the clothes given to her should be ironed.
Sarah stepped in. “Jennifer, this fabric is very expensive. Vivian searched long and hard for it. It’s for the big fashion show. You ruined so much of it. You better think of how to explain it to her.”
Kelly proudly said, “That’s right, Jennifer. You made the

mistake, and you face the consequences. Since Vivian thinks highly of you, you figure out a solution.”
Kelly looked at the others in the studio. “It’s time to go home. Let’s go.”
Everyone else stayed quiet. They were used to this kind of drama.
Jennifer saw that everyone listened to Kelly.
She knew she had stepped into a big trap on her first day.
Kelly left with everyone. Sarah stayed behind for a moment.

Sarah smirked. “Jennifer, you better think of how to apologize to Vivian tomorrow. Maybe she’ll forgive you.”
Jennifer said coldly, “Stop pretending to be nice. I know you and Kelly set me up.”
Sarah replied, “Jennifer, how can you think that? You’re new, so it’s normal to make mistakes. You can’t blame others.”
Sarah was happy inside. She knew Vivian valued this fabric a lot.
Tomorrow, Vivian would be angry, and Jennifer wouldn’t be able to stay in the studio.
Sarah left with the others.
Jennifer stayed alone at her desk. She searched online for

She searched the whole studio but couldn’t find any fabric like it. She also posted online but got no responses.
Time passed, and she still had no solution.
Her phone rang. She answered weakly, “Hello, who is this?”
“Where are you?” the caller said.
Jennifer recognized Timothy’s voice and sighed, “I’m at the studio. What’s up?”
“Grandma wants us to have dinner at home tonight.”
“Oh, I know. I’ll take a taxi home later.”

His tone brooked no argument, and she knew the reason.
If they got out of the same car, Angelina would think they got along.
Jennifer sent him the address.
She then continued to search for a solution.
Timothy arrived at the studio. Jennifer walked out, looking
down.
Timothy asked, “What’s wrong?”

Jennifer sighed, “Don’t ask. Today was my first day at the studio. I wanted to learn, but I accidentally ruined a valuable fabric.”
Timothy was unimpressed. “It’s just a piece of fabric.”
Jennifer explained, “It’s not just any fabric. I can’t find a replacement. If Vivian finds out tomorrow, I’m done. I won’t be able to stay in the studio.”
Timothy asked, “What kind of fabric is so precious?”
