Normally, Vivian would tolerate zero tolerance for such behavior, but considering Jennifer was involved, and the misunderstanding about the fake designer brand incident earlier, Vivian decided to give her a chance to explain herself.

“Yeah, who would have guessed Jennifer would be so hot–headed? She can’t
even handle a simple question without resorting to violence,” another said.
Sarah stepped forward to play the role of the peacemaker. “I think Jennifer is probably upset because she was injured at

the factory. After all, as a young woman, going through something like that, she probably doesn’t want anyone to bring it up.”
Jennifer didn’t want to waste time with words, so she simply pulled out her phone and played the recording from earlier.
After the last incident where she had been framed, she had learned her lesson.
Kelly had too much influence in the studio, and Jennifer didn’t want to be caught in another scheme with no one to back her up.
She still wanted to stay in this studio, so she had taken extra precautions, not expecting that they would actually come in handy now.

Kelly nodded in agreement. “Yes, I’m just too blunt with my words sometimes. I didn’t mean to offend anyone.”
Jennifer scoffed coldly, “Save that for the judge. Let’s see if he’ll believe you.”
Kelly started to panic.
She hadn’t realized that Jennifer had kept evidence, but now that it was in her possession, it would be very unfavorable for her.

Seeing Jennifer so cooperative, Vivian’s expression softened. “You went through a lot to get this fabric and were badly hurt. There was no need for you to come in today.”
“It’s all right, Ms. Hoover. It’s just a minor injury, and luckily my fiancé arrived just in time to protect me,” Jennifer replied.
“As long as you’re safe,” Ms. Hoover said, “Now, let me take a look at the fabric you brought back.”
After inspecting it, Vivian sighed, slightly frustrated. “There’s quite a bit stained

Sarah stepped in, feigning concern. “So what are we going to do? The showcase is in just two weeks, and with this key fabric ruined, doesn’t that throw all of our preparations off track?”
“Jennifer, you’re responsible for this mess, so you should see it through. You’ve put everyone’s hard work at risk.”
