The imposing bodyguards stood by the doorway, creating an intimidating atmosphere.
Kelly jumped in surprise. “What do you think you’re doing? Who are you people?”
At that moment, the butler, dressed sharply in a tailcoat, entered the room.
Oliver walked directly up to Jennifer with respect. “Mrs. Jennifer Clark, Madam Clark asked me to deliver these fabrics. Where would you like me to place them?”
“Just set them on the table,” Jennifer replied.

Oliver gestured, and the bodyguards each brought a bolt of fabric, placing them one by one on the table.
Sarah, observing this, couldn’t hide the envy in her eyes.
She immediately recognized these men as part of the Clark family’s entourage. It infuriated her to think that the Clarks would back Jennifer so openly.
Kelly, however, didn’t recognize them and scoffed. “Who are these people showing off like this, bringing in piles of scrap fabric? This studio isn’t a junkyard!”
With a scornful look, she turned to Vivian. “Ms. Hoover, look at the lengths Jennifer goes to avoid responsibility, making you replace materials and even sending these

“No, these aren’t just any fabrics!”
Vivian, a professional, had instantly recognized the quality.
She examined them carefully, even putting on gloves to avoid damaging them.

Kelly’s smugness vanished, replaced by embarrassment.

“I’m certain. These fabrics are far superior to what we initially selected.”
This fabric was in an entirely different league from the previous one!
Still envious, Sarah chimed in. “Even if these fabrics are luxurious, they won’t fit seamlessly into our show’s current theme. They’re a different type.”
Jennifer turned to Vivian. “Are any of
these usable?”
“Absolutely. But using such high–value fabrics for a show might be wasteful. Also, I certainly don’t have the budget for these.”

“What? These fabrics are that expensive?” Kelly was shocked.
“How did Jennifer manage to get these?”

“Free?” Vivian said, still shocked. “But
these fabrics are far too valuable.”
Oliver turned to Jennifer and added, “Since you will be using them, I’ll be taking my leave now.”
“Wait. Not all the fabrics are usable.
These two are fine, but the rest can be
taken back.”
