Chapter 202 My Fiancée
Jennifer recognized Timothy’s car at a glance. She was surprised that he had returned at this moment.
For some reason, seeing Timothy made her feel much more at
ease.
Timothy got out of the car and saw Jennifer being carried over Asher’s shoulder.
He spoke coldly, “Who gave you the audacity to treat my fiancée like this in my house? Are you tired of living?”
Asher put Jennifer down quickly.
He hurriedly explained, “Mr. Clark, I came specifically to take Jennifer to apologize, but she wouldn’t listen, so I wanted to take her home to reflect on her actions.”
Sarah also stepped forward and explained in a sweet voice, “Mr. Clark, this matter is indeed our fault. Asher has already disciplined Jennifer. Please don’t take the media’s words to heart.”
Timothy glanced at Sarah. “Aren’t you also one of those who called me a cripple?”
Sarah’s face turned pale with fear.

She quickly explained, “Mr. Clark, you’re mistaken. I never said that about you.”
Asher looked at Sarah. “What’s going on that I don’t know about?”
“Asher, it’s a misunderstanding. I really didn’t say that. I wouldn’t possibly say something so offensive to Mr. Clark.”
Jennifer sneered, “It seems Sarah hasn’t told you about this.”
Sarah only ever told things that were to her advantage.
Asher frowned, “What exactly happened that I don’t know about?”
“The day before yesterday, Sarah and her cronies mocked me and Jason’s affair, and I ended up fighting with her in the classroom.”
Asher was surprised at it.
“Later, the school called our families to deal with the matter. The person who came was Daniel. He should have witnessed what really happened.”
“Daniel didn’t mention what happened to me. Tell me directly.”
“Sarah and her cronies called me promiscuous and said I cheated because Timothy was impotent.”
Sarah’s voice became shrill with fear. “Jennifer, I never said

that. Don’t you dare slander me? It was my friend who made those personal attacks on Mr. Clark, not me.”

Asher frowned, “Sarah has always been sensible. She doesn’t seem like the type to do such a thing. It must have just been her friend who misspoke.”
Even if Sarah had accidentally said something, it couldn’t be admitted now.
Jennifer wasn’t surprised by Asher’s explanation at all.
Jennifer said sarcastically, “But so many people saw and heard what Sarah did and said. A simple denial won’t erase Sarah’s actions and words.”
Sarah became nervous. She regretted going to bother Jennifer the other day.
Asher looked at Jennifer and lowered his voice. “Sarah has explained it wasn’t her. Jennifer, how long do you intend to pursue this?”
Jennifer sneered, “I’m stating the facts.”
“Timothy is still here. Even if Sarah said something, can’t you resolve it privately?”
Jennifer said with a smirk, “Asher, the most important thing in your eyes is the company. Don’t try to bind me morally.”
He always made her back down and suffer losses, but why

Timothy said indifferently, “That’s correct. My lawyers have already prepared the legal letters and will send them to Sarah and his classmates. I will pursue this matter to the end.”
Asher’s face darkened.
He didn’t expect that sensible Sarah would also cause trouble.
Sarah’s face changed dramatically. “Mr. Clark, you heard the recording that day. It really wasn’t me who said those words.”
“You should tell that to the judge, not to me.”
Asher scolded Sarah, “Why are you causing me trouble too?”
Sarah was on the verge of tears. She didn’t expect Timothy to hold her accountable.
She said, “Asher, I really didn’t say those things. I just wanted to advise Jennifer not to cause trouble that would affect our two families‘ relationship. I didn’t expect my friend to say that.”
Timothy said coldly to Asher, “There’s a recording as evidence from that day. If you don’t believe it, you can listen to it.”
Jennifer noticed the look Timothy gave her.
She lowered her eyelids and revealed a wry smile. “The recording pen is lost, and the recordings inside are gone too.”

Timothy frowned. How could it be lost?
