Chapter 320 Rampage
1/5
Jennifer watched Dylan’s expression shift, and she knew she had hit the nail on the head–nothing had changed.
Dylan scoffed, saying, “You think developing a new drug doesn’t take time?”
Sarah chimed in, “Exactly! Don’t worry, Jennifer, Mr. Clark’s leg will be fine by next year.”
“That’s something I didn’t need you to explain,” Jennifer retorted.
With her experience from her previous life, she was confident that if she started researching now, it would be ready for clinical trials by the end of the year.
Timothy would be standing again by next year.
Millie, eyeing Jennifer, said, “You’re going to stay at the lab until Dylan lets you go. Only then can you come back.”
If Dylan remained angry, Jennifer might as well never return.
With the special medicine, her son would be recovering next year, and they wouldn’t need to maintain the engagement with Jennifer any longer.
Jennifer remained silent, but suddenly, she grabbed a beaker,

pulled a small bottle from her pocket, and poured the liquid
inside.

Sarah instinctively ducked behind Dylan. “What are you doing, Jennifer?” she gasped.
She thought, “That wouldn’t be sulfuric acid, would it?”
People around them began to back away.
Millic looked at Jennifer in panic. “Have you lost your mind?
Put that down!”
Dylan, growing wary, warned, “Jennifer, you don’t know what you’re doing. You’ll only hurt yourself. Who do you think you can threaten?”
Ignoring him, Jennifer hurled the beaker across the room, smashing it against the wall.
She continued her rampage, throwing things as she walked.
Dylan’s face turned pale. “Jennifer, what are you doing? Do you want to destroy this place?”
Jennifer raised an eyebrow, a mocking smile on her lips. “I’m just cleaning for you. To me, all of this looks like garbage, and I’m helping you tidy up.”
Her icy gaze held a hint of sarcasm.
She thought, “Do they really think that forcing me to apologize

and clean the lab will make me comply? How naive.”
As she continued to toss items aside, she finally reached an
incubator.

Dylan’s demeanor hardened instantly. “Jennifer, stop! You can’t
touch that!”
Jennifer glanced at the incubator, fully aware of what was inside.
It contained the latest version of the special medicine,
something Dylan had poured countless hours into, yet had never been able to replicate.
“Why can’t I touch it? If I say it’s garbage, then it’s garbage,” she replied defiantly.
“Jennifer!” Dylan’s voice was laced with urgency. “Just stop it. You don’t have to clean the lab anymore, and we can forget about what happened at Kinglet Villa. Deal?”
A smirk appeared on Jennifer’s face. “Oh, now you’re scared? That must mean what’s inside is pretty valuable. What exactly is
it?”
Dylan hesitated before answering, “It’s not anything too
precious, just an important research reagent. If you destroy it, it’ll set back the research for everyone involved. You wouldn’t do something like that, would you?”
“Oh, is this your precious research?” Jennifer taunted, pulling

the reagent from the incubator.
She could see Dylan’s face drain of color.
Sarah interjected, confused, “Dylan, what kind of research is this? Do we really need to be threatened by Jennifer?”

Dylan furrowed his brow, choosing not to answer Sarah. Instead, he turned to Jennifer with a calm but firm tone. “Look, Jennifer, we’re family. Just put the reagent back, and I won’t hold this against you. I’ll keep working on the special medicine.”
“Dylan, how can you just let this go?”
Sarah’s frustration was palpable. She had waited too long for this moment to back down now.
Dylan shot a glare at Sarah. “Shut your mouth. You’re not needed here,” he snapped, his voice cutting through the tension–filled room.
At this moment, Dylan’s sole focus was on the miracle drug.
With that in hand, he figured that securing funding for the future of the institute would be a breeze.
But instead, the prized serum was now in Jennifer’s grasp, and, that was a problem he couldn’t ignore.
Taking a step closer to Jennifer, he said with a forced calm, “Just give me that, and I’ll arrange for someone to take you to the hospital to check that bruise on your head.”

Jennifer’s bruised forehead was still visible, but she smirked, unbothered.
“Sure, you want it? Come and get it.”
She held out her hand, the precious serum resting between her fingers, daring him to take it.
