Chapter 373 Done Keeping Quiet
Millie spoke, her voice full of anger, “This is my son’s house. Why should I leave? If anyone should leave, it’s you.”
Jennifer turned to Ryan directly. “Well, you can leave now. This isn’t your son’s house, is it?”
She cast a quick glance at the servants standing nearby. “Get Ryan’s things packed. After all, he’s served for so many years. Let’s make sure he exits gracefully.”
The staff exchanged uncertain glances but didn’t move immediately.
Jennifer’s gaze turned sharp. “Anyone who helps Ryan pack his things will be the head of the housekeeping.”
At that, a maid rushed upstairs to gather Ryan’s belongings.
Jennifer watched the scene with some satisfaction.
It seemed that, when it came to interests, people could still see reality clearly.
Ryan looked suddenly aged, staring at Millie in silence.
Millie frowned. “Pack your things and come with me. I don’t want any scandals spreading about the Clark family.”

The old butler, having served the family for years, knew far too much, including secrets that the Clark family didn’t want exposed.

If they just threw him out without any consideration, it would be bad for the Clark family’s reputation.
Millie glanced at Jennifer. “Haven’t you seen the news? Timothy met up with that Parker girl while he was on his business trip. Who knows, they might rekindle something. How important do you think you are?”
Jennifer’s heart sank at these words.
It was impossible not to know about it with the media frenzy surrounding it. Everyone seemed eager to share the gossip, enjoying the drama.
She replied in a calm tone, “That’s a matter for the future. Right now, I’m still the lady of King Villa.”
Millie scoffed, “I’ll see how long you’ll keep clinging to my son. Timothy spent a long time wallowing because of that woman. Sooner or later, you’ll be kicked out.”
Jennifer’s lips curled into a cold smile. “I don’t mind. But I do remember that you never seemed particularly fond of Ms. Parker either, right?”
Millie gritted her teeth. “I’ve always had doubts about Timothy’s taste in women. Why does he always pick such terrible ones?”

With a frustrated huff, Millie dragged Ryan away, heading back to Clark Manor to show Angelina exactly what Jennifer was really like.
Neither Jennifer nor that Parker woman would ever be accepted into the Clark family.
Jennifer watched them leave, sitting alone on the couch.
Millie’s mention of Parker made her thoughts drift.
Wasn’t it for Parker that Timothy had ended up in prison in the last life?
Jennifer remembered how much of a scandal that had been at
the time. People had blamed Parker, but in the end, it didn’t
matter.
Timothy was still sent to jail.
Parker, however, had ended up winning in the end–amassing wealth, making it onto the Forbes list, and becoming a very successful young single woman.
Jennifer couldn’t help but sigh. Was Timothy doomed to repeat the mistakes of his past life?
But no matter what, she would make sure to treat Timothy’s injury and get him back on his feet.
After all, that had been Angelina’s greatest wish.

Chapter 373 Done Keeping Quiet
Angelina had always treated her so well. Jennifer was determined to fulfill her final wish.
That evening, Jennifer was alone in the villa.
She had asked the new housekeeper to prepare a meal she liked.
The new housekeeper, far more attentive and diligent than Ryan, worked hard to please her. It was a stark contrast to the days when Ryan would treat her with disdain.
Jennifer opened a bottle of wine and sat by the bedroom window, gazing out at the night.
As she sat there, Timothy’s photo with that woman suddenly flashed in her mind. The scene outside was almost identical to the one she had seen in the photos.
Realizing what she was thinking, she quickly snapped herself out of it.
What did it matter? Why was she so concerned about Timothy and that woman?
It had nothing to do with her.
She had no interest in Timothy’s old, passionate love life.
The next morning, Jennifer woke up early and headed straight to school.
With the semester nearing its end, there were fewer classes, and

most students were busy scrambling to finish their final assignments to avoid failing.

Jennifer walked into the classroom and immediately joined her group members to discuss the upcoming project.
But not long after, the room suddenly grew quiet, as if an invisible tension filled the air.
Jennifer instinctively glanced toward the door, and there, standing at the entrance, was Sarah.
