Chapter 382 Sarah Regretted It
Jennifer relaxed on the sofa, leisurely snacking on the fruit James had specifically brought her.
It was the same pattern. Whether it was James at Hargreaves Villa or Ryan at King Villa, once they got a little taste of their own medicine, they were quick to fall in line.
Soon enough, James returned, carrying a plate of pastries and coffee. “Ms. Hargreaves, please give this a try. Ms. Campbell even prepared a special dinner for you. I think she knows she really is sorry.”
“Sarah made dinner for me?” Jennifer raised an eyebrow in
disbelief.
“That’s right. She said she wanted to make up and calm things down.”

James eagerly sang Sarah’s praises, likely worried about the possibility of Sarah being kicked out of Hargreaves Villa. If that happened, his paycheck would be in jeopardy.
Right now, his best bet was to stay on Jennifer’s good side, just in case the situation took a turn. She could always speak up for him and help keep him around.
Jennifer let out a sharp laugh. “I wouldn’t trust a dinner made by her. Who knows, it might be poisoned.”
“Ms. Hargreaves, don’t joke around.” James said, clearly
