Janet had finished preparing everything and downstairs, a servant was waiting to take her to the wedding venue.
“Where’s Parker?” Janet looked around but
couldn’t see Parker.
The servant respectfully said, “He went out early this morning, perhaps he has
gone
ahead to prepare at the wedding venue.”
This answer pleased Janet, easing some of her inner discomfort and she got into the car heading to the wedding venue.
Upon arrival at the wedding venue, Janet, with sharp eyes, spotted the name ‘Michelle‘ on the guest list and a faint, ominous feeling arose in her heart. She quickly tried to

reassure herself not to think too much.
There were so many people named Michelle in the world and this Michelle couldn’t possibly be the identity of Michelle after changing her name, could it? Besides, Michelle was just a powerless orphan, so how could she possibly be on the guest list of the business elite?
Thinking this, Janet relaxed a little and didn’t notice Michelle, who was holding Kenneth’s arm and entering the venue nearby.
“Are you nervous?” Kenneth asked with
concern.
Michelle shook her head, but the hand holding Kenneth’s tightened unconsciously. After all, it was the person she had once loved with all her heart, how could it not stir

Michelle stared at the wedding photos of Parker and Janet playing repeatedly on the big screen and gave a sarcastic smile, “Do you know? I once endlessly longed to have a wedding photo with him, I imagined I would be very happy. But now, I only feel relieved that I never had this illusory happiness.”
Michelle sighed from the heart. Before coming, she thought that seeing Parker would make her hate him, feel sad, or angry.
But in fact, she no longer had any emotional reaction to Parker. At most, it was just a sense of melancholy.
Kenneth gently squeezed her hand and said softly, “It’s all in the past. I’m here.”
“Mm.” Michelle smiled lightly. She was happy

The wedding ceremony had already started for ten minutes, but the groom had yet to show up. The audience started murmuring in sharp voices.
Janet’s face turned red, filled with
embarrassment and anger, wishing she could bury herself in a hole right there and then.
Twenty minutes passed and Parker still hadn’t arrived. Janet gritted her teeth, lifted her dress and walked up the red carpet alone.
With all the guests watching her, Janet broke into a cold sweat, especially when people started talking about her premarital
pregnancy, her face turned ashen.
But she still forced a smile and explained,

“Everyone, please stay calm! Parker is on his way, please wait a little longer…”
Halfway through her speech, Janet suddenly noticed a familiar figure. Michelle? How could she be here?
Below the stage, Michelle was smiling at her, just a normal professional smile, but to Janet, it felt glaring and mocking. It seemed like she was ridiculing her incompetence.
Before Janet could get angry, the sound of an orchestra came from outside and the main doors of the banquet hall were suddenly slammed open. A coffin was brought in, behind the coffin was Parker.
